…a Pop Tart with butter?

Just learned about the Family Guy song about eating a Pop Tart with it. Ya think MJ Toal thought of that first? Think

I didn't just try, I dam near grew up with it. Mom preferred the unfrosted version which I never understood until I was an adult, but she always liked to slather some butter on there

Never did the Pop Tart with butter. Prolly worth a try but, as SOB mentioned, I think it would be best if eating the non-frosted versions.

Frosted versions, I could eat cold right out of the package. If toasted, there is the danger of scalding your tongue and lips with the filling. Learned that pretty quickly.

On a related or unrelated note for things that don't click with me but I have not tried.... Cheese ravioli with cinnamon and sugar rather than spaghetti sauce. Good friend of mine loves it since she grew up with it. Is it a desert or part of a meal??? Doesn't sound appealing to me but different strokes for different folks

Not sure how I feel about the cinnamon and sugar, but I'd drown them bastids in some melted garlic butter

Longs Drugs (…owned by CVS…) has Pop Tarts on sale this week. Gonna check out what flavors they have and probably buy some.

Haven’t had Pop Tarts in years. Was shopping yesterday and saw strawberry and blueberry without sugar encrusted toppings.

Bought the blueberry. Not bad. Feel like I remember a time when there was a lot more fruit filling.

I thought that too about the lack of filling. Didn't know if it was actual or my childhood brain was messing with me

Yeah. Our mouths were smaller. Maybe that had something to do with that.

^ like you need to worry about shrinkflation.

Rumor has it you have a couple feet to go before it even shrinks to your kneecaps.

It may or may not be true... I'm just reiterating rumors that I heard...

Pop tarts are located in aisle A19 in Walmart, the cereal aisle, about waist high but to the left of the granola bars. Opposite side of the aisle from the Chex and Cheerios.

Current Qty on the shelf for Pop Tarts at the Gardner, MA Wally World (based on my app inventory report, it updates around midnight)...

27 boxes of 16 count frosted strawberry
12 boxes of 16 count frosted brown sugar
35 boxes of 16 count frosted S'mores flavor

These are the top three in demand in my area. As for unfrosted.. top two in demand and on the shelf are

Qty 9 boxes of 16 count unfrosted strawberry
Qty 12 boxes of 16 count unfrosted blueberry

The "on shelf" inventory may not be 100% correct... TeeDub might be shopping and filling his cart while drinking a key lime seltzer water that he didn't pay for.

Bought a couple of boxes. Brown Sugar Cinnamon and Frosted Strawberry. The FS is for our granddaughters since the store was out of their favorite, Frosted Raspberry. Anyway, tried a toasted BSC with butter and WOW! What took me so long to do this? Good stuff. I now can see why Dan / SOB looks the way he does (…oooh, shot across the bow! Hahaha!…).

Huh... ain't had pop tarts in forever. Never had with butter, but sounds good.

I had 3 eggs, scrambled, with diced up leftover prime rib and cheese... 2 slices of Dave's killer bread (good seed) toasted and buttered.

Prolly healthier than a pop tart.

Haha! I knew that was coming! Laugh

The only thing I got going for me is I’m only 7 pounds above my h.s. weight. Doing sit ups, crunches, etc. to carve out those abs ain’t happening! Not talking

Heck, just typing all of that exercise makes me wanna sit down with a beer and a smoke. Beer

Me too, bruddah. We're due for a break. I'm just gonna ignore the h.s. weight topic for the time being

They were completely out of the non-frosted PTs so rolled the dice on the CnC.
