Since the payouts would be race based wouldn’t that be racial discrimination at face value and therefore unconstitutional?t

Not unless they ignore compensation claims of others whose ancestors were slaves/discriminated against and who are not African-American. The entire issue of reparations is just nuts. F it.

This isn't meant to be racist in any way shape or form...anyone wanting to take it there meet up with me personally in real face to face conversation and we'll talk...that said...when was the last time you saw anyone of Asian descent panhandling? Boohooing about how terribly wrong they've had it here in America? Why are Mexicans and people from all over Central America willing to break our laws to get here and work illegally? Where's their complaint? Seriously. Every group that's ever immigrated here en masse has had a terrible welcoming period here in the Melting Pot. Why after the Civil War to end slavery does anyone think they deserve any better treatment than those that fought to win Freedom? Nobody is owed anything. Work hard to get ahead and earn it. Can't...doesn't mean you're deserving. Won't...its going to be a cold day in hell when you actually get what you want.

That opens another can of worms. What about the Appalachians who lived in company towns and were paid company to spend in company stores. The Chinese rail workers. Etc…
