Even before that the tone was just weird for the subject. If you catch the right video, whoever the woman was who introduced him went "Good afternoon everybody, ans welcome to the East Room of the White House."

The words themselves are fine. The ear to ear smile and game show host tone that went with them threw me off a bit

Hey, Trump also lost the popular vote to Hillary! That might be an even stronger measure of proof that most Americans don't want him to be POTUS was than losing to Biden.

The only reason he split the elections was the Electoral College.

Odd, they put the fences and gates back up to make the area look like Guantanamo Bay anytime they think a dozen or more conservatives might show up, or even with nobody showing up like the recent SOTU address, but with this there’s nothing.

"Maximum eligible participants" That's an ever-changing thing it seems promoted by demagogues, usurpers, and scoundrels.
