Storing Flavours

So I've been thinking about getting a couple CAO Flavours sticks. No, I'm not a big flavored cigar fan, but I've had the Moontrance cigarillos and would like to try them in Robusto as well as some of the other flavors. They're a nice change of pace every-once-in-a-while. Plus, I may be able to coax my wife into the club also...doubtfully. Anyway, I feel like these should be kept in a separate Humi than where my "normal" cigars are kept so none of the flavors marry with the cigars I actually like. I've got the extra humidors, just curious if I should get one seasoning up or not. Any input on this is appreciated.

You put ‘em in a humidor and you will have a permanent flavored only humidor. I’d go with a Tupperware dish with an O ring.

Separate Storage is a 100% must. small Tupadoor is perfect... this also means if you use Boveda, don't mix them between flavored and and non.

What they said^^
Or, get a freezer ziplock bag and a 65rh Boveda and call it good.

I was going to suggest the zip lock unless you find after a bit you really want to invest in them long-term

I tried to get Mrs Beach into infused smokes. Didn't take

I got a sampler of those CAO flavors on here years ago. They were terrible. The Drew Estate Acid line were way better imo.

Never got into infused cigars. Tasted like smoking something soaked in perfume or potpourri. That doesn't mean they are bad, everyone has different tastes, just saying that they are not for me.

As for storage, the suggestions above sums things up.

this...

also, many many years ago I tried some CAO flavored cigars. No plans to revisit but I'd suggest the corona size instead of romusto.

Personally I would double freezer bag any infused and then drop them in the trash but YMMV.

I lol'd.

Thanks guys, pretty in line to what I was thinking. I like the boveda/ziplock idea. Not trying to wreck a humidor... and I didn't even think about the boveda taking on the flavor; GOOD SAVE ON THAT ONE DRG! Still haven't purchased any yet and yes Frank, you're probably right, the corona sounds better in these. Like I said, I've only had the moontrance cigarillos in the 10-pack tin. They weren't bad, but I definitely don't want my "good" cigars to take on any of that flavor.

Go get your balls out of her purse. If you can't turn in your man card.

Someone had to say it.

Keep in mind the extra chemicals you are putting into your body with infused cigars.
They aren’t worth it imho…

Definitely do a separate humi for the infused.

I will say that, to my mind only, the Acids are far and away better than the CAOs. I thought the Moontrance was one of the more unpleasant smokes I’ve had, but of course that’s just me.
I do like a mild infused smoke now and again and recommend the Kuba Kuba or an M by Macanudo. Kubas are heavily infused though , so be aware!
The Torano Reserva Decadia is really nice too. Slightly infused, but creamy and mild. I had this yesterday and loved it.
Good luck!

^yup they are in the glass tubes. I got the name kinda wrong but that’s the one. I’m not big into the infused stuff but I really enjoyed this.

I used to like Drew Estate Tabak Especial Toro Negra but have them locked up in a humi-bag and last couple times I tried them I wasn't a fan anymore. I have a cousin that turned me on to them so I let them age for when he stops by. He still likes them.
