I'm looking for a box of AF Anejo but having a hard time finding availability in the US. I found a couple places in the DR that ship to the US but have never done it before. Do any of you have experience buying from an online store in the DR and shipped to the US? Also, while searching I read somewhere that Anejos are released twice a year. Do you know when that is? Please share your insights. Thank you, much appreciated.

Ideally number 50 or 60 but I’d take any size. I like around a 48, 50 ring gauge.

They are typically released around 1st of December for the Christmas season and around fathers day each year. Ya just need a shpo that protects you.

So should be right around now. Fingers crossed I’m going to stop into a couple shpos today and put the word out in case they haven’t arrived yet. One of the shpo I’m planning to stop at today usually has excellent AF selection so I have high hopes.

According to a couple places I stopped at today they usually get a shipment of AF Anejo sometime late fall or early winter in time for Christmas/New Year but unfortunately not Father's day. I ended up with a few Anejo singles that were left and few Ashton VSG and ESG. That's 2 out of about 400 shpos we have in New England. The search continues but I have to stop buying things I don't need if they don't have what I really want. I didn't need those Ashtons or the nifty little pocket torch for another $60... wtf d'oh!

Overseas grey market vendor USED to have a good selection of fair priced AF including Anejo. Unfortunately most overseas stuff if about 9 miles from even being a joke now.

That Tampa place had everything I was looking for and more. All the AF Maduros I love all in one place and prices are right. The Anejos came in perfect condition and even included a handwritten letter from Arturo Fuente Jr. thanking me for my purchase. Okay, the handwritten letter was photocopied but still nice touch. This is my new favorite place.

^ I got the note too. It was a nice touch. Seems like maybe that is a Fuente owned shop?

Yes, I think so, maybe a cousin or something. They definitely have an inside connection because no shop I've found has such an excellent availability of AF cigars.

It’s AF shpo.

I came for the roosters, and stayed for Gaybor……

Got to see the old man there before he passed with LeHockeyDad, good times! DMV was too busy with a wide stance in the men’s room at the SLC airport, and rfenster couldn’t skip school.

If you get a chance and you’re a big fan it’s a cool stop in a cool town.

Thanks, I'll definitely stop in when in Tampa until then I I'm making all my Fuente purchases there. It's like factory or is factory direct. Either way they have the cigars I like readily available.
