Applause

2:02 min.

His final stellar performance...
Phillip Seymor Hoffman is unforgettable in this action spy-thriller from spy master John Le Carre'( tinker tailor soldier spy)
Rachel McAdams
William DeFoe
Robin Wright

A mysterious immigrant arrives in HAMBURG GERMANY...P.S.HOFFMAN plays the director of a little known German "off the books and public radar" anti terrorist division who tracks this immigrant and coerces him to do as they want...
Very good and methodically done...a few slow periods but not many...
No spoilers from me...
Watch it !!

I recommend this movie...thumbs up fog

My only beef is the technology they installed to see & watch this guy and several others...it was way too old and totally obvious to anyone in trade craft...
It is 2014, and I know the kind of stuff they used on me 2012-2018 was totally undetectable, tenth generation audio / video micro unit were available ... they were not used in this movie.
