I was on vacation for a couple weeks, spending time with my son and daughter and their families in Mammoth, then onto Lassen National Park and Monterey, CA. I usually go off the grid when on vacay...got back and saw the news...looked in here to read all the tributes...and was shocked and disappointed...

Randy Meisner died!!!

He Took it to the Limit, while telling about a Desperado with Lyin Eyes at the Hotel California during One of these Nights, and living On the Border while giving the Best of My Love...

Rats, I forgot to post up the news last week! d'oh!

Thanks for putting it out there.

I was a big fan of the early Eagles but after Bernie Leadon left and Joe Walsh took a bigger role, my fandom dramatically lessened.

Always found it amusing that Timothy B. Schmit replaced Randy after he left Poco and the Eagles.
