No doubt but coming back from such an embarrassing loss will show us the true mettle of the team.

Deion Sanders has always been and always will be a showboat. As a player he could back it up because he was that talented.

But, a team on the other hand is the sum of all its parts. They just aren’t that good. The media have their collective faces buried between Deion’s cheeks so they echoed his hype.

On the other hand, now that the babyloes been slobber knockered the reality of who they really are will set in. I see them losing 3-4 more games this year.

Yes, but from 1-11 last year to already 3-1 this year... if they go 6-6 it will be a big improvement.

Going to be the third long season in a row for me. Auburn sux!

Thank you Bryan Harsin. Guess Bo Nix saw what was happening and headed west after one year of Harsin's coaching. Can't say that I blame Bo.

I blame TCU. They gave Deion and the Buffalos oxygen by not showing up week one. That is all he needed.

The sickening irony is this 1980’s FSU standout seems to be promoting a 1980’s culture of the Miami Hurricanes.

To see how to absolutely blow a game based on a nearly unbelievable failure by a coach, a running back, and a defense all in equal amounts, I invite you to watch the highlights of the Miami Hurricanes in final minute or so of the 4th quarter.

Text book, masters class on how to lose a football game.

WokeCenter should have the video.

Some damn good games yesterday.

OU beat Texas.

USC barely scrapes by AZ in 3OT?? They need a defense.

ND lost to Louisville?

UGA seems to be back on track or Kentucky wasn't as good as people thought.

LSU beat Mizzou. Lead changes galore until the end.

That was a barn burner. Oregon did enough to win, but those 3 missed 4th down conversions were just dumb as hell. Left 6 points on the field and then gave UW a shorter field instead of punting.

No balls, no blue chips but you have to be smart and take points when they are there.

Think he was playing the odds. If he goes 1 for 3, they win. He stayed with his convictions. The only team with more convictions is the Miami Hurricanes.

Or... hear me out... he kicks 2 FG's and punts and wins the game.

Washington is atop the PAC12, and it seems the early rankings were off, as teams like USC, Utah and UCLA are exposed...we'll know soon enough whether schools leaving the PAC12 will be as dominant/competitive in their new conferences...I'm doubting it due to increased travel demands...

Wisconsin Badger fans are going to get a dose of reality when those four PAC 10 teams enter. They flap their lips when they win the Big 10 West. Generally, they are the fourth or fifth best teams. They will be lucky to sniff 77th.

Edit: sniff 7th.

Accidentally funny. Edit will read 7th.
But to your point, can see a path where there are two conferences with 100 teams each.

Bama is now up 24-20, unfortunately...

Texas is still tied with Houston, but I am not certain Texas is gonna let that game slip away.

Utah is gonna beat USC. You heard it here, first.

Utah v USC. I’m hoping for a high scoring shootout. And for you, a USC win.

I forget who said it but I’ve heard the suggestion that the conferences revert back to their old alignments for every sport other than football. Football can be football ‘cause you only play one game a week so travel is not much of a challenge whereas some of the lesser collegiate sports have multiple games a week and / or home and home games. Imagine the USC swim team going across the country to compete against Rutgers and then a few weeks later, Rutgers going to USC? As a non-revenue generating sport, who’s gonna be paying for the added expense? The TV deals ain’t gonna look as sweet once you start having to use those monies to support other sports. On another note, fo’ sure the environmentalists will be up in arms over the excessive expansion of everyone’s carbon footprint!

If the Big Ten (ough) Big 18 (cough) soon-to-be Big 20 kept their East and West formats, USC would easily win their division. Their scariest opponents would be Iowa and Wisconsin. Scaaary!

Not so sure about Washington right about now. My lowly 1-6 Sun Devils held them to 7-15 score last night.

True... and if Oregon's coach wasn't a dumbass, Oregon would have beaten them. It's just that USC has no defense and their offense got exposed by Colorado in the second half of that game. Since then? Barely won at AZ, L to Notre Dame and L to Utah.

If I was a betting man (spoiler: I'm not) I would still bet Washington over USC.

Now college football has the latest in the pussification of America. Oklahoma at Kansas. The game is delayed. Why?

Severe weather within 8 miles. By ncaa rule, the game cannot restart until 30 minutes after the storm is more than 8 miles away.

Here’s the kicker. The storm is to the east of the stadium. The storm continues East.

So even though the storm didn’t impact the stadium, and the storm has passed (and continuing to move away) the game is delayed.

PLUS, these are people from Oklahoma and Kansas. They eat tornados for breakfast and ask for dessert.

Penn State got tested by Indiana.

OU has a defense slightly better than USC, so they ain't going nowhere.

Oregon is good... if their coach wasn't a dumbass, they'd be top 4, easy.

Sometimes, there are bad beats in gaming. Like losing a wager on the last play of the game.

Other times, you get a swift kick in the onions so fierce, you just have to smile laugh.

Texas A&M @Ole Miss. Under 51.5 is the play.

Last I looked, it was 31-21 and still in the 3rd quarter. Frying pan

A buck to my friend. A good day. Now giving him $3 today would have me furrowing my brow.

To be fair, their offense is still really good. They just couldn't stop a parked car that had it's wheels stolen.

UW isn't going very far with their lack of defense, either.
