Hello BOTLs
Just checking this forum out today cause im looking to trade several cigars and Im offering the best I have. It appears the veterans here have some really cool things going on that I would love to be a part of as soon as I'm no longer a Noob. So hello to all and happy smoking.

Rarities Im willing to trade:

2 LFD Andalusian bull
2 Liga H99 robusto
2 AKA Solace toro ( the original styler, great cigar tastes like toasted marshmallows and no longer available due to AKA going out of business)
2 ORIGINAL Camacho Triple Maduro before they changed the band and blend which IMO ruined the line.
About 10 Sinistro Last Cowboy LE limited edition dynamite stic
ks. In case youre unfamiliar it's a unique, marketing heavy cigar that has about a $17 MSRP. It's a one size only 6.5×54 Toro that's completely wrapped in red paper and the foot has about an extra 3 inches of leaf twisted to resemble a wick. Only 400 boxes of 14 made. Each box contains 2 bundles of 7 sticks bound together with 2 black ribbons to resemble the way they used to bundle dynamite with electrical tape.

Looking for:

Tabernacle not the red CT one though
JDN antano dark corojo lg sizes only cause my local B&M only carries the smaller sizes in that cigar

Will also trade for

Padron family reserves
Ashton VSG
LFD Air bender, la nox, or reserva especial
LADC MI Amor

Can you elaborate a little more? Or is that just a cliche insult from a forum veteran to a forum noobs first post?

Dont mind DMV.
He is just excited, and most likely anxiously digging through his coolers and humidors looking for some JDNs for ya!

BTW, they didn’t really “change” the blend on the Camacho Triple Maduro, but they definitely aren’t as good as the very early Davidoff, or pre-Davidoff ones………………..probably different tobaccos.

Welcome, hang in there, smoke what you like.
Be prepared to send first until your trade cred is established here.

Of course. I expected to send first. Sorry for being so defensive, I assumed it was sarcasm. Had some bad experiences in others forums in the past. Forums are like bars and cigar lounges in that some everyone is welcoming to newbies and strangers, in others the members want their place to be exclusive to them and the group who has already been established. Hope its not the latter here. Thanks for the info on the Camacho. I assumed the blend was changed because they tasted a lot different to me when the band changed. I went from loving that cigar, buying boxes at a time, to not even wanting to buy it.

Well, to be honest, most noobs have to take a bit of hazing……..just the way it goes.

Camacho Triple Maddie…….(from a 2013 article in CA)
======
Camacho cigars are getting a new look—and some new blends, too. In an effort to modernize its appearance and reinforce its reputation for bold cigars, Camacho Cigars has redesigned its packaging as well as reformulated most of its existing blends.

"Nearly all elements of Camacho have been intensified," said Dylan Austin, head of marketing for Camacho, which is based in Pinellas Park, Florida. "The brand is taking an aggressive stance on the future and aims to reset the bar for bold and full-flavored cigars."

Part of the redesign includes adding the image of a scorpion on Camacho's boxes and bands, which Austin feels is emblematic of the brand's heritage as well as its modern-day philosophy of aggressive competition. The bands and boxes have all received a complete makeover featuring bolder logos, scaled-up lettering and more colorful designs.

As part of the overall brand reconstruction, however, Camacho has cut some lines from the portfolio. Brands such as Coyolar, SLR Select and 10th Anniversary are now discontinued.

"We've slimmed down the portfolio quite a bit," said Austin. "Previously there were 11 lines under the Camacho brand. Now there are six: Corojo, Corojo Maduro, Connecticut, Criollo (previously called Havana), Triple Maduro and Diploma. Of these six, all except the Triple Maduro and Connecticut have been reblended."

======

I remember, with shock and horror, when those fluorescent cigar bands came out…

I believe the family sold tobacco used in the blends to Davidoff as well, but the family kept their farms. So at some point the blend may not have changed but in fact the tobacco did.

New guy with the boobie name, welcome aboard, I would suggest getting in the moon trade to establish some credit. Yes sending first is another avenue, but getting established also helps you flush out welchers on your end as well. I would also suggest your trade bait and asks are specific which is great, it’s also narrow. You very well may find a happy suitor but it may require patience.

Do you like waffles or pancakes?

Dude, some people here will harass you for the next day or two. Let it roll off your back and ignore it unless you like it. Stick around. Check out the BOTL-ness on the 500-thread in the General Section. Welcome!

He sent me an Andalusian Bull, which will only be the second I've had, along with

Kristoff Corojo (which I like)
Cain F (which I like)
and

Free Will (nh). Had to look this one up, very interesting.

I'm surprised you remembered this old post. You have a long memory. So do I ...

Thank you very much, Señor Whiskey. Excellent hit.

Hey Toker, fellow noob here. We are the fresh blood that keeps these old farts alive! I don’t know if you wanted to trade everything, which would probably be easier for you, or if you’re willing to piecemeal trade. I’m interested in both of those Andalusian Bulls, both AKA solace and the Sinistro Cowboy. You probably want to keep those Cowboys wrapped up in the posse. If you’re considering breaking them up, I’d be interested in a few of them.
Everything I have is fresh and might not have the age on it that you’d prefer. I do have some of the sticks you mentioned and possibly some others that you might find interesting.
If this sounds like a possible trade let me know and I can send you a PM with better details. I need to check my inventory. I wanted to let you know I’m interested.

Sorry Jeebs, all those cigars are gone. I found other ppl to trade them with as I assumed it would be too difficult here. Easier to trade with a BOTL at a shpo if u have one. Though most only have what's at that shpo and thats obviously not what you're looking to trade for.

Wait a minute. When did this hit arrive? I think we may have another mystery BOTL impersonator on the loose.

I don't think youd had enough coffee yet. That Free Will is made by Oliva and I believe it's exclusive to the monkey place if u like it and are looking for more.

Saw you liked Caldwell's corojos as do I, so I figured I'd send a Kristoff corojo.

Wasn't a mooch post. Ppl were saying you were low in another thread.

It was I and I wasn't impersonating, I think Lee just hadn't had enough coffee yet this morning and confused us.

Dam, I'm sorry Toker. You are absolutely right. Lack of caffeine and just being tired man.

Thank you Toker, for the gift. I'm looking forward to these and to retribution. And BTW, you're in for retribution too, PW. Guilt by association.
