Anyone smoking Caldwells? Got a sampler a while back and finally decided to crack it open. Didn’t care for the Eastern Standard but the Long Live the Kings are pretty damn cool.
What’s the consensus around here?

^^Exactly how I felt about the sampler.
The “King” versions (Dead, Long Live) I liked.
The Eastern Standard, Midnight Express and the other one?……..didn’t impress me.

So I low bid on King versions (fivers) every now and again, just to keep a few on hand when I feel like one.

Took my local shpo close to 2 years to sell a box of Eastern Standard.

I tried a LLTK and thought it was fine, didn’t buy another one though.

I like the King stuff, especially The Last Tsar. But I also like the Eastern Standard, especially Midnight Express. Blushing

And I have excellent taste in cigars (and women).

I smoked one tonight! Fantastic flavor, but unfortunately rolled from flame retardant tobacco. I wanted to toss it, but it was so good that I kept thinking it would burn through the problem spot. But the problem spot was the whole cigar. That's the first one of those I have had that has had that issue.

It was a romusto. If it had been a Midnight Express Trainwreck or something, that would have been dumb.

Come to think of it, Trainwreck is pretty killer as I recall. Just sayin
