Hey guys, it’s been a long time since I’ve been on the forum (due to health reasons) but is there any places that take cigars to send to the troops? I know OPFTH is sadly no longer around. I was just in my humidor and saw I had a lot of sticks that I would like to send out. Thanks everyone.

I’ll take all your top shelf stuff and pass the rest off to MACS and Whistleclbritches…they’re veterans.

One issue also I think the military changed its policy on shipping (officially) cigars.

If you go to cigarsforwarriors.org there is a map, you can search your zip code and it will tell you the closest B&M u can drop cigars off for our troops. Thanks for considering them as well.

Edit: I also heard something a few months back about not allowing cigars buy I also kinda remember it was that they tried to ban them but failed.

I was trying to send cigars to a friend on the USS Dwight D Eisenhower a couple weeks ago. No go it seems. Not sure how these cigars for troops people hand them out, maybe directly.

This is they reply I got when confirming the rules.

Hi Peter, please see the restriction of tobacco product that are prohibited for mailing to this MPO(Military Post Office)

C. Cigarettes and other tobacco products, including tobacco leaves, chewing and pipe tobacco, snuff, and cigars are prohibited, including those that are authorized in Publication 52 under PACT.

Best Regards.

The Chief's Mess, when I was active duty... NEVER would have allowed that sheit to happen.

The continuing pussification of the military. Good Grief.

Anyone know the reasoning for the new restriction?
