Both decent dudes...
Both made music history...

But I gotta just say this...
Daryll Hall is way cooler and talented than John Oates...but John Oates is still an awesome musician...
Daryll just gets the comraderie and jamming in person and his barn /farm hut in Chester county? And hanging with the musical Vunnderkund TODD RUDGREN...
WHO IS A MUSICIAL AFFICIANANDO...
DARYLL AND TODD @ Todd's house in Hawaii singing "It wouldn't have mattered"
Was simply a live mind blowing experience/ video at Todd's hut in kawaii.

Such a shame. Sad

It’s probably well past amicably resolving their issue(s).

But realistically, although I’ve tried to listen to their post-80s stuff, that music just never had the pop (…no pun intended…). I did enjoy their “Our Kind of Soul” album but it came out almost 20 years ago.

I was never a big fan of the Joe Walsh-era Eagles. I know for sure I saw them once with the original lineup or right after Don Felder joined them and then again (…I think…). Enjoyed both(?) shows but when they came to Hawaii for the “Hotel California” tour, thought their sound had changed too much with Joe. I don’t wanna say that it was a bad show but I don’t remember being very pumped up throughout their performance. Joe was kinda feeling his way around so when one of the encore songs was the “Rocky Mountain Way”, you could tell he was a lot more comfortable.
