Not a new idea, but the Wall Street Journal is reporting the IDF is pumping sea water into the Hamas Metro.

If filled with Hamas, great. Knowing there is a probability of the 150+ hostages are in those same tunnels, is it an appropriate Cost of Doing Business?

I would assume the hostages are already dead unless I saw their picture with today’s newspaper in their hands.

Somehow I don’t think hostages are treated like pow under the Geneva Conventions.

They are too powerful of a bargaining chip for Hamas to kill off.

Agreed. They've already used them to bargain, there's no reason to kill them at least the non-jewish hostages that are left.

Wasn’t there some crazy exchange made where Israel gave up 1,500ish prisoners in exchange for for one Israeli soldier?

At that exchange rate, Hamas knows how to follow and make the money.

They are only getting a 3-1 exchange rate this time. The hostages can be useful as long as people believe they are alive.

Hamas is winning. The world is turning on Israel. The US is turning on Israel led by the progressive left. You don’t hear too much complaining about the hostages.

Ya, it's extraordinary that the progressive left protests and condemns Isreal's military actions in Gaza but can't seem to muster the same kind of angst and condemn Hamas. Weird huh?.

Flooding the tunnels will definitely flush the rats out. Let it rain!

I don't believe the IDF would knowingly harm the hostages. I also believe that the IDF has some vague idea of the status of the hostages and where they are or were. In this type situation what is known today will be the unknown tomorrow. Ever changing.
