Well...she did dress like a guy.

The alleged plane wreck is 5000ft. underwater so good luck with the recovery.

I heard it said that some people thought the Japs got her.

Meh, the Titanic is 12,500 ft and they take tourists there. Submersibles have gone to the deepest parts of the Challenger Deep at something like 35,000+ feet.

kinda hope they are not Ms. Earhart...her mysterious disappearance has taken on some mythical, mystical qualities...and she has elevated the stature of women in aviation specifically, and Western culture in general...

Believe they said it's in 16,000ft of water.

They also said they want to raise it and restore it. THAT is a fantasy...


Kinda makes sense how they allegedly found it. Crossed the date line but used a star chart for the day after to navigate by?
