He doesn’t sound bitter he sounds like someone who wanted to do something nice for a good BOTL and this got hijacked in an uncomfortable way that lacks couth. It’s been done before? Possibly but I don’t recall that. Reminds me of a teeshirt I recently saw “It’s never a war crime the first time”.

DED is right fault starts with me. And there’s time stamps to show the fault was apologized for when I saw this went sideways. It was given privately to avoid this being about anything but what it should be. Our friend.

I would have never said anything had Corey made the Karma comment. It sounded like bitterness to me so I responded.

As far as me posting the tracking, it’s a public forum. Anyone including Al could have looked it up. I simply made a wisecrack about it to Al because of the type of banter Al and I have shared over the years both in person and on the forums.

Had it been brought to my attention via pm I’d immediately deleted or changed the post. But, it wasn’t handled that way.

What’s really sad is that a good deal for Al has devolved into yet another childish argument that should have been initially addressed in an adult manor and all of this would have been resolved.

Not bitter at all If you wanted to help or wanted to know who you should have asked instead of doing what you did . It’s all good everything worked out anyway. I did send a pm to you.

It really needs to be all good.

Everyone is arguing over jointly giving someone gifts. Very fine thing to do. The gifts arrived, Al is happy and that is all that should count.

Nothing was done with the intent to cause harm.

At worst, a very minor mistake (I have made before myself.) Now I know not to do it.

End of story. Kumbaya?

hahaha...this little drama reminded me of a quote by a well known sports announcer in his day, lovable in a unique way, mostly maligned and ridiculed, sometimes inebriated but respected and befriended by the GOAT, Muhammed Ali. Howard Cosell said these classic words on air when there was a minor slip on the Monday Night Football broadcast; "Who Goofed??? I've GOT TO KNOW!!!"

some harmless theatrics can be a distracting load lightener...thank you all, my good brothers!!!

Wow, Cheno sent me a very generous sweet and savory care package.

The Sweet: Zalatino Sweets 28 oz tin of assorted Baklava; 15 oz bag Ghirardelli assorted dark chocolate squares, including 60% and 72% cacao, 3 different Fannie May chocolate bars, an Endangered Species blueberry with 72% cacao dark chocolate bar...

The savory: Fuente 2022 Holiday Collection, 10 cigar sampler...

Wow...thank you very much, Cheno.

the family will definitely get the sweets...but I can have an ounce or so of chocolate every now and then, not every day...and just can't have the whole bar

Doctor told me I didn't have to deny myself entirely, but can indulge in sweets or other carbs in moderation...2 pieces of baklava rather than 6-8...

No worries, Whistle...from WebMD: "While moderate amounts of alcohol may cause blood sugar to rise, excess alcohol can actually decrease your blood sugar level -- sometimes causing it to drop …"

I rarely indulge in alcoholic beverages, but I do like to drink on occasions with friends, and when I do I usually go
overboard...silver linings...

A package from danm arrived today with a very nice selection of cigars.

Danm also sent some other goodies, acknowledging my diabetes; a bag of Albanese "lower sugar" gummi bears and a bigger bag of Albanese "sugar free" gummi bears. I will enjoy each and every morsel...might not share with the family...they got Cheno's goodies.

There was also a "Gridlife Racing League " sticker...much thanks, Brother!!!

I may have misunderstood this from the title.

I thought Zrx was getting the van out for a camping trip.
