Stogie1020 offered to send me a few L'atelier Mission 1959 in the what you smoking thread. I'd be a fool to turn that down.

Opened the box to 2 1959s - band is familiar dunno if I've had one or just seen em. Either way I don't remember them.
Surrogates Tramp Stamp - been a while but I like em
Tat T110 Tuxtla - have 2 in the humidor, haven't had one in many years but remember liking the t110 not sure if the tuxtila is different than t110s in the past
Tat Reserva broadleaf - do love these and it's been a long long time

Thank you sir! I will be taking one of the 59's to the garage shortly. Herfing

That's a nice one Stogie.

Something has gotten into Stogie. He "tapped" me last week too. I don't know if he gets bored, feeling malevolent, horny, or what, but whatever it is he starts mailing out cigars like there are no consequences.

The 1st T110 was a special release for Fields in Hawaii only 200 boxes. Palama sent me one of those years ago. Thanks Conan! The newer versions are not quite as strong with my favorite being the Capa Especial. The Tuxtla is a MSA wrapper.

Tatuajeā€™s famed T110 limited release first arrived in 2009, being based on a blend that was so strong it was code named ā€œThermonuclear.ā€ This cigar later evolved into more familiar brands such as Fausto and Avión; but in 2021 the T110 returned, now accompanied by two new variations of the blend: T110 Reserva Broadleaf and T110 Capa Especial. Each version uses similar core recipes of ligero-heavy all-Nicaraguan tobaccos, with the original being topped with a Habano wrapper, the Reserva using Broadleaf, and the Capa Especial a ruddy Ecuadorian Sumatra. It was the latter that we gravitated towards, offering a punchy profile, while showing more balance and nuance than its siblings. The cigar is medium-plus in body, unloading with fiery red pepper at ignition; sweet caramel is quick to tame the heat, being balanced by a gentle saltiness and a fun PayDay candy bar combination of nougat, caramel, and peanuts.

Gold band 1959? Carlos Torano, maybe? I like the Torano 1959's.

Didnā€™t the Tattoo petite lancero also come from this blend?
