The mothership has a pretty nice storage solution available. $100 but with DROP20 code you get to $80. For a stated 450 stick storage. Looks like a decent buy for those needing more room.

Mahogany is a serviceable replacement for Spanish cedar for our purposes. Though they should be pretty easy to remake of you have a good source for Spanish cedar.

Get a tape boys……..it’s not as big as it looks.
450 cigars? Sure, if they’re Tat PCRs.
Still a nice unit with nice trays…

Yeah 300 to 350 is likely more realistic.

I checked the dimensions already. I think it's on par with other humidor estimates. They always figure for petite coronas in their estimates. It'll probably hold 250-300ish Robustos and Toros.

Just pulled the trigger. Thanks JGRAZ. I wasn't liking the mahogany trays and would've bought sooner if spanish cedar, but I like that each tray has a humidification slot. That sold me. Now I need more cigars. To the bidding site...Herfing

If you can't have Spanish cedar, mahogany is the next best choice.

Lolz. I put one in cart to checkout just to see out the door price. I wasn't gonna buy anyway but even after the two codes it's $107. They're charging cigar excise tax on a damn tote.

Stupid taxing a container like that. As for cigars, you guys in high tax states could always use a middleman like a family member who can resend to you.

That looks cool. I’ll have to measure it to see where I could stow it. If I can find a convenient spot, I’ll get one.

The more I think about it the more I want it.

Stackable trays - can't find those.

Gasketed tote with hinged lid - can't find those.

Trays with built in boveda holders.

If only they didn't apply the cigar tax to a doggone tote.

I'd give them a call about the cigar tax. They shouldn't be charging it. Maybe they have a way around it

Or

Perhaps someone outside of your state can buy but have the shipping to you. The purchase state should be the one getting taxed

They’re probably set up to add the tax automatically. I’d call if you really wanted one. They sure should be able to work around that easily. I got a shipping notification should be there today. They need signature lol. For a box.

My ups guy knows what’s up he leaves my stuff anyhow

Apparently the free shipping comes with a boveda pack. Maybe that's what triggered the tax or need for signature. Maybe try doing it without the free shipping.

Spanish cedar fines (veneers) are very cheap on Amazon. I buy them for my sistema tuperdores. But as for me, I’m fine with Mahogany as long as it is solid and not Mahogany veneer on Pine.

Shelves inside stack You can move the organizers to make 3 different size areas inside each rack. Lid doesn’t have a seal but I don’t think I’ll add one. It shuts nice and tight. Like whoosh when you drop the lid vs slam. It’s more yeti style cooler like roto molded or whatever they call it. I might eliminate one of my cooler setups and use this. I’m digging it

Sounds pretty good/nice. You'll find out soon enough if it's leaky. I'm sure there are probably plenty of easy lid seal solutions if required

Got it. Was delivered 1 street over.
Like Jake said much bigger then I expected. The trays are solid wood, not ply. Should be easy to make up replacements in Spanish cedar but what I'll likely do is just make some dividers instead. The seal should be fine, but it's easily remedied with a bead of silicone or a bit of weatherstripping. For the $85 I paid it's a great buy. Would I pay full price? Not likely.
