Passed away yesterday at 83 years old.

I totally forgot that he played for the Eagles.

Went to a lot of games at the Coliseum and got to see his skill. What a pinpoint passer.

My Fave all-time Ram...just ahead of Deacon Jones...

My enduring image of him is how he stood tall in the pocket, chaos all around, eyes looking downfield... hands and forearms and fists grabbing and thumping him... then completing an over the top toss.

His last career pass was the only reception by Mr. Invincible Vince Papale. Shame he didn’t get into the Hall of Fame prior to his death.
