ACC inter-conference play has begun. Tarheels beat out Florida State 69 - 48. I must say that I am extremely happy about our good start this season.

T4L,
I didn't see the game but I caught the highlights on ESPN. Nice win the showed the can battle back in the second half and come away with a win as a visitor. I know it's not going to happen but one of the schools LeBron James' is considering is UNC (along with Puke). FSU was holding their opponents to 30% shooting.

Cash,

Everyday here in Northeast Ohio has become Lebron James update day. The Plain Dealer ran another large article/update yesterday regarding the sponsors that are bidding for him along with jobs for his friends and family. The closet that kid will come to a college is if his pro team plays on a campus.

Here's a link if you're interested...

Unfortunately, he's right. LeBron won't be attending college anytime soon. Oh, well......he probably isn't worth it, anyways. I just hope that he does like a lot of other players who either skip college all together, or leave early for the NBA, and end up sucking big ass in the big league. Just look at Joseph Forte. 'Nuff said.

GO HEELS!!!!

Sometimes I feel like some kind of freak. I've never actually sat through a basketball game. Seen a few minutes here and there on TV but I never understood the appeal. Same with baseball, I think I'd go mad if I had to suffer through a whole baseball game. I seen a few football games on TV but not in 20 years or so (cheerleaders more interesting than the game). What's wrong with me?

You're right T4Life about LeBron, I was just happy that he thought about UNC. And that whole Forte deal? That disappointed me, I thought he was the future and then poof he goes pro. Oh well we've got our Fab Four I like what the future has in store for Chapel Hill or I should say "Heaven on Earth".
Merry Christmas and GO HEELS!

CJbully,
Thanks for the LeBron link, WOW who would have thought a high school senior, in any sport would get so much attention. What's going to happen in the future? I watched that ESPN game the other week when they played Oak Hill and the thing I liked most about him was his vision combined with his passing ability. I've Kobe live once and I would love to see Lebron but too little too late they were just in Philly at the Palestra and they killed Strawberry Mansion. St. Vincent/St. Mary's has a decent wrestling squad as well, they did pretty well in Reno last week. It looks like they have some real studs. But they are overlooked due to LeBron-mania.

Hey Tarheel, I live just west of Baltimore so you can guess what team I root for. The ACC looks to be very competitive this year with no clear frontrunner as yet. What I get a kick from is how well the ACC teams do playing out of conference. I'll be rooting for the "Heels" twice this year. Yup, that's right...when they play Duke. Would be really cool if they tied though.
