SO ! All you've done by this photograph is prove that you ARE a kid ... c'mon - why else would you post here on CBID? We're all kids that refuse to grow up!!! BTW - Nice bike - I've been looking for a Ducati to have for breakfast someday ..... gimme' a holeshot race in the quarter if you're ever in the Northeast?

Ducati, this proves how your little mind works. If I cant see you and I think I'm dealing with a kid, Its because of how you think, not look.
I guess you think you are "Macho" cause you ride? Ha! Ive had 6 different street bikes. I own one now.
Sorry, but this doesnt convince me that your mind is not as mature as your body. Good try. Use this one on your kid. He might fall for it. Not me.

Mag,
You started all this by trying to rain on the Packers parade...insulting us with the "easy schedule" comment. You should've listened to your mother when she told you "if you don't have anything good to say, keep your mouth shut". AS for your "little mind" comment, I will not acknowlege the childish inuendo with a response.

Merry Christmas.

Jimmy,

The ducati sure isn't a "holeshot" bike. Quarter mile isn't it's strong point. But it sure turns nice. The front end feel is terrific, very confidence inspiring. It feels as though you are holding on to the front axle. I have the steering head set up for maximum stability, so it takes more effort to turn it into the corner than a Japanese bike. But there is no feeling quite like the torque of the twin coming out of the corner. Compared to my previous bike, the Ducati 851, this one is much easier to ride fast, much more forgiving.

No, you started it. You started the thread! Do you expect everyone who reads your thread to agree with every word? You dont live in Green Bay, you think you live in fantasy land!
Ive posted threads and dont cry about posts that disagree with me. I did say you had an EASY SCHEDULE & still believe that. But, you did also get a complement from me for your record. For some reason you missed that part. Well I've heard of "selective hearing" but never "selective seeing", I think you have that. You better get it checked out by your doctor.

Mag,
I've got to agree with Rick on the GB thing. Redwoods are less dense than him. Hell, I've even read where GB is a Pack fan because of the small market thing and because Vince Lombardi was a republican.

This post started the fued. Nothing Rude, Nothing inaccurate, and even had a complement in it. YOU ARE A CRYBABY!!!!!!!!
Here it is:

"You do have a great looking record, BUT. Out of your 12 wins, only 4 teams the Packers beat have winning records. When the packers have played teams that now have winning records, they have a 3-3 record.

You play the Jets next week, another game you should win. EASY schedule, but congratulations! If they win 13-3 is pretty damn good."

What was wrong with that post? This is football talk, nothing more.

Ducatti - sounds nice ... I just picked up mine in June 2002 - then got sent to Pendleton for the summer and had to leave her home ... finished now with all the mods - and I'm lucky that my wife (Vicki) loves to ride with me - otherwise she wouldn't let me have it ... anyway - here it is:

'02 Suzuki Bandit 1200S

HoleShot Stage II Jet Kit
HloeShot Timing Advancer
- ign advanced 4 degrees
gskr cams
15/45 gearing
6 speed transmission (custom Designs)
lowered 1.5" rear 1" front
trans 1-3rd retained springs
heavy clutch - upshift w/o requiring clutch
ign advanced 3.5 degrees
patented engine work (major setup)
and many other not so eco-friendly mods ..

Stock bike was 89ft lbs torque & 110 hp

Now - 118ft lbs torque and 146 hp -

0 - 60 in "oh sh*t" and (literally, that's what you'll be able to spit out before it gets it there).

Last track was just over 9.1 in the 1/4 with one of the pro-track riders in the seat ... I've only got it in a 9.4 in 1/4

Top end ? Good question - I'm not crazy enough to open it up all the way - but I did punch it through 170 and still had plenty of reserve left - just didn't have the cajones - and I was watching a prick in a BMW (had his trophy girlfriend out for a ride and thought he'd taligate me and prompt a race ... throttle lock gave me an opportunity to show 'em a full moon before an eclipse).

ign advanced 3.5 degrees
- meant to put 3-5
Currently set at 4 / have tried 3 & 5 degrees and I'm still not done with the tweaking.

- btw -
I'm getting a delay in response from 4800 - 5600 rmps ... redline is set at 12800 currently - not bad for a 4 cylinder / 16 valve engine ... but - on the hesitation ..

- any ideas? exhaust tuning? It's driving me nuts ..

LOL...sounds like a fun bike. A friend of mine participates in the Midwest dragracing circuit with his ZX-12. He also has a 1200 Suzuki set to full drag w/nitrious. Those bikes are too much for me. The fastest I have ever gone was 145mph and was enough for me. It is amazing how fast mailboxes go by at that speed. I'll just stick to the slower, curving roads.

I will ask my friend about your questions, his brother set up a national champion bike a few years ago and does some work with Muzzy. His name is Naef. Ring a bell?

I have a Honda mini bike that I got from a Cahaba Shrine Clown. You have to wear size 28 shoes to shift gears but I bet it'll turn sharper than any of ya'lls biguns. It holds the record in my back yard track. Your bikes can't even get into my back yard! LOL

LOL@Barry -

Ducatti - Naef? Heard the name mentioned, only indirectly though. Any help would be appreciated in getting rid of that stutter. Agreed on the speed ... it's amazing what bikes today can do - and at those speeds ... you can actually steer by raising your helmet slightly and tilting/turning your head ... just gotta make sure you don't try to sit up ...

Alot of name calling here! Wow... and all about what? Now if this is a post about bikes and such... that's another story. Went by a friends shop the other day to see some new gear... Awesome! Maybe you've heard of him Steve J. in the NHRA.. Bike doesn't look all that street wise but gets up and goes! Been around many bikes.. Dad's a honda man and I like the over priced harley's. But there are so many great looking packages nowadays to chose from! Happy Riding & Merry Christmas!

Now, on the other hand if this is about football, everyone has his days. Look at New Orleans wk 1 NO over TB, wk 2 NO over GB, wk 12 TB over GB, wk 13 NO over TB then self destruct mode...lol wk 16 Cin over NO... painful but happens! So just look at the big picture before the mud slinging gets out of hand! Next year we all start all over with zeros because we are the spectators!

Ducatti - while you're at it ... if you know anyone that needs either some factory pull-off or some after market parts that I experimented with (with no success), I have a bunch to get rid of ... the after market parts (K&N & others) were only on the bike for 2 months ...
