Say you've just built a time machine and you're preparing to give it a whirl. Which way do you go, past or future?

Incidentally, unlike Mr. Peabody's Wayback machine this time machine is only good for a one way trip--you're not coming back.

I'd go a few years into the past and convince slimboli I was his **** love child, so I could inherit his cigars.

I'd choose to go back to the time I began college and start again there ... it'd be very interesting to see how things would turn out if I'd chosen some of the "other" alternatives in those years ... not that I have major regrets, I'd just like to see how it might have been on other paths ....

Since its a one way trip - I'd go back one week and buy a winning "Powerball" lottery ticket. : )

Preliminary results are in:
Future 0
Past 4

I'm ain't surprised. I've been putting this question to most everyone I know for years now and with one or two exceptions everyone votes for the past.

Me, I'd go back fifteen thousand years and be a cave man.

I can't remember college, I think it was a mistake.
