We have this year an oppoutunity to vote for a great American. Al Gore is the finest man to run for president in my life time and I'm 62. An honest, intelligent, well seasoned man. We should all be thankful.....Russ

As someone on this board once said, there are "unpainted mannequins with more personality than Al Gore". Not only is this guy a totem pole but he's also dangerous! A lunatic that wants to remove many of your freedoms. Worse yet, I saw a poll that had him ahead of Bush recently, let's keep this crazy nut out of office PLEASE!!

"This silly march is typical of the thinking of some people. Making something illegal will have no effect on criminals. Criminals break the law that is why they are criminals. Making new laws only affects the law abiding people. When will people learn restricting law abiding people only makes it easier for criminals to commit their crimes without fear of retribution".....Russ

Im confused Russ..The above (with spelling mistakes corrected) is what you said on 16 May 2000 about the the Million Woman March and their views on Gun Control...I hope you don't own guns because if your "best candidate" gets into office, he will immediately attempt to make owning a firearm illegal, and twist and manipulate our Constitution to fit his own needs...Very contradictory, don't you think?...Keith

You seem to be quite Conservative in your first statement, but you can't be serious about Gore if those are your true beliefs..A Liberal in sheep's clothing maybe?...

"Great American"...Probably not.."Intelligent"..probably..."Well-seasoned"?...Not for someone who, thanks to daddy, got a cushy assignment due to hsi father's friend getting him an assignment in Vietnam as a reporter..Guy is so full of lies....Seriously, I hope you were just being sarcastic.

I guess we all are choking on your definition of "finest", Russ. If by "finest", you mean "socialistic lunatic", then you are correct. If by "well seasoned" you mean "Lie, steal, cheat and deceipt", then again you score high marks. As for intelligence, I don't think anybody will argue that fact. His IQ is perhaps twice that of GW's, but GW doesn't want to spend my money to prove it. Gore is nothing more than an intelligent debater who is riding the best economy in this nations history. If he weren't such a dufous(?) he would be running away with this election. And as for the good economy, don't let the white house whore take credit. If I am not mistaken, both the house and senate are run by the Grand Ole Party.

I, like Russ have to agree that Al Gore is obviously the best choice. I'd be really scared if Bush made it to the White House. Imagine him whispering some obsenity in the middle of a Peace Treaty! NO THANKS. I'll take my chances on a Democrat in the big house. This nation is not ready for another "rich get richer" 4 years. Bush doesn't have a chance.......

I see... It's OK for slick willy to clean an intern's tonsils then lie about it straight faced to the whole world, but it's bad karma when GW gives his opinion to his soon to be right-hand man. I'm not saying that bush jr and the GOP are the total answer, but please vote reform party if you hate the Texas Governor that much. Gore is unrealistic and can't seem to comprehend that his programs take money. LOTS of money. Not to mention that his anti-business approach to cleaning up the environment scares the heck outta me. Although, without Gore we couldn't have this forum. He did, afterall, INVENT THE INTERNET.

why is it that everyone thinks GWB is dumb? the guy went to yale and harvard business school for crying out loud, he is the chief of one of the biggest states and biggest economies in the country. reactionary liberals and journalists like to paint southerners and republicans as good ol' boys, yet democrats always have the high road. they said Ronald Reagan was dumb too. Albert Gore, Jr? his whole existence is an absolute joke - grew up on a farm? hardly, more like Southfork Ranch. more likely, he was hatched in some laboratory experiment gone awry. invented the internet? sudden supporter of campaign finance? champion of the common man? pro-environment shareholder of Occidental petro? pro-life, then suddenly pro-choice? pro-tobacco, then suddenly anti tobacco? Gore Jr is a whore who disdains you and me.

AL Gore is the absolute WORST choice an intelligent man can make. Unless, you need government to DICTATE your life, take MORE of your money, and are sick of your personal freedoms. Sorry but I don not fit in that category.

I sincerely believe that Wany was kidding with the Perot remark. I can't believe that there are cigar smokers in this world who support Gore. Gore will be the worst thing to happen to the tobacco industry. Al Gore used to worked in the tobacco industry. He was one of those wooden Indians that stand in front of cigar shops. Seriously people, VOTE BUSH.

Not just our tobbaco industry, our Freedom to hunt, fish, and they will probably regulate our breathing rights also!!!!!!. it is getting to be "We the corporations for the People" instead of We the People for the People. I feel its time we got someone in there who can stand up and get the country back to the people!!!!!

I live not far from this hypocritical, What way is the wind blowing, stiff, thinks he knows more than us lesser types, jackass. He did very little to help out the state I currently live in, and see ne chance in his ability to do any good for the USA. He will lie to the elderly to get their vote. He will steal from(tax) everyone to support failing social programs. Finally if you have enough money and a temple he can visit, you may get a political dog bone thrown your way.

YEAH!!! I would not put ANYTHING past him! I bet if the truth was known....I don't trust ANYBODY who isn't a Republican! For all I know ya'll could all be pukey democrats spying on the other side. I have gotten to the point I do not like anyone named Gore or even Al for that matter. Maybe Ron Reagan has enough of his daddy's genes to mature into a savior for this country one day like his dad was once. Think about it! Stars & Bars & Fat Cigars! AMEN!
