I have heard, on a few occasions, about some "cigar smoking" music. What type of music is "cigar smoking" music?...and where can I find some?

Currently mine is a CD called "Freight Train Blues". Marty Short, Fred Eaglesmith, Joe Ely, Red Knuckles & the Trailblazers. Perfect music for my garage cigar smoking experiences.

Cigar smoking music is the music you enjoy, played while smoking a cigar.

I was only wondering, being somewhat a newbie and all, if there was any music that enhanced the smoking experience.

Hello (tap tap) is this thing on?
That's what I'm trying to say. It's like the cliff. Just cause they jump don't mean you have to.

Usually for me Sarah McLachlan is easy to get into but lately has been latin based or Louis & Ella. It's whatever mellows you out most of the time and for the rest.. whatever gets you in the mood!

In the evening, I listen to Neil Young "Unplugged" or "Harvest Moon" when I smoke on my deck in the summer. In the afternoon, it is Stevie Ray Vaghan.

I'm starting to see why people dismiss CA as a lot of nonsense.

Personally, I enjoy smoking a cigar while doing something that relaxes me. That could be listening to whatever music I happen to be in the mood for, or playing The Sopranos 3rd season on my projection system.

I don't need someone telling me what I should be doing or listening to while smoking. Sheesh.

For me, a good sporting event is music to my ears, while enjoying a stogie. Unless my team loses! Hehe!

I listen to anything from Willie Nelson to SRV... in between would be Johnny Cash, the Highwaymen, Poncho and Lefty,REO,Eric Clapton!!!,Gospal music...another good song is Green Grass and High Tides by Mountian
J.D. Blackfoot (Crazyhorse) allot of Blues and Bluegrass... now the wife plays the Piano and listens to some of the Piano music's and I have been enjoying that also....Metalica did an Album with the Orchastra and I enjoy that one also... Especially the Tune Nothing Else Matters... I listen to that tune to flush Rickamahaven's Political Babble out of my system LMAO!!!

Add anything by Taj Mahal to the list of great music to listen to anytime.

usahog,

The Outlaws did a fantastic country guitar rock (ala Lynard Skynard) version of Green Grass and high Tides back in the 70's. Did they do a remake of a Mountain song or vise versa?
