Any suggestions for a good, light cigar? I have been looking for a decent light Connecticut shade wrapper. Any advice would be appreciated.

Macanudo Cafe, about as light as they come, but pricey. The new Helix might fit the bill and is much cheaper.

Leon Jimines makes a really smooth Connecticut cigar. Their maddies are good too. The "new" CAO Black/Frontier is another really good smoke too!

I like the Havana Sunrise as a mild but complex cigar. Great in the morning with good coffee.

CI carries them at around $45 a box.

Try and win a 5 pack of Sinatra's if the come up on the bid board. They're pretty mild and enjoyable for the $.

All good choices. Also try Pleiades, Sinatra My Way's and Don Linos.

Ditto on all the suggestions above and if you want the absolute best CS wrapped cigar, try a Diamond Crown--I find them too mild and too much $$.

Ditto on the Plieades, try the Occidental's...nice mild smoke and the price is right. Por Laranaga's Fabuloso is the best mild smoke IMHO. Make sure you get them without the H2000 wrapper.

Add Don Diego to the list above!! I prefer Macanudo Hyde Park for a lighter cigar! The Robust and Maduro Hyde Parks are fuller bodied and have more flavor than the standard Hyde Park!

I agree with the Macanudo suggestions. I have introduced first timers to cigars and gave them Macs. That way they don't cringe and gag.
I like them because the smoke smell goes away pretty fast and keeps the wife from sniffing my clothes and saying "eeew".

Macs and Leon J's. Can't go wrong with either.

i second the helix and havana sunrise. had a couple/few por larranaga and leon jimenes that were good also. dont care for macanudo. had a don diego reserve that was mighty nice. i think it was the CT don juans i had that were good, also. the regular montecristo and temple hall are also good, though a little spendy.
