Just wanted to know any feedback on these cigars.
I enjoy the AF lines especially the Don Carlos, and Hemi's.
Thanks.

Any Fuente sun grown, IMHO, is a pleasant experience. I've had numerous Chateau Fuente sungrowns and doubles and this Royal Salute is no different. Although this one is a bargain and tasty right out of the box, I'm a staunch believer in letting a smoke take a nap for at least 4 months or longer if you have a variety of smokes and through rotation can allow all your smokes to get some age on them. But with premiums, it's sometimes difficult unless you have an entire box.

I just had a AF Double Chateau Sun Grown, sitting in front of my fireplace last night. It was as good as it gets. And yes, I live in reeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeal cols weather.

How do these SG's compare with the other SG's from Fuente.
My favorite Fuente is the Don Carlos Line.

Hi Em, these Fuentes are very similar but with a bit more of a punch. Still very smooth but I wouldn't puff one on an empty stomach.

emgjet --- all the SG's in the Fuente line have there own unique flavors, because of the blends of filer and binder and the age and type of SG wrappers used ...

... the best is the 858SG, IMHO ... although the Cuban Beli is a close second.

A very good everyday 'go-to' cigar is the Sun Grown Chateau (or Double Chateau) ...

Send me your snailer and I will send you a Double Chateau Sungrown. Don't have a Royal Salute but IMO they taste basically the same.

Don Carlos are better but overpriced.

Thank you for all you opinions and replies. I do enjoy the AF lines, but mostly the higher end full bodied smokes like the Hemi's, Opus X's, and of course, my favorites, the Don Carlos. I have been reluctant to try the lesser priced AF SG's, but heard only good things about them. I'm always willing to try any full bodied smoke, especially if they are less taxing on the budget...I'm sure Mrs. G wouldn't mind the lower priced cigars also.

JD, Slim, and Qball: Thanks for your reviews and replies.

Red: Thanks for the generous offer...I will return the favor.
