We moved late last year, and I stumbled across an old Colibri pen-shaped pipe lighter my mom gave me... gawd... 20 years ago? Could be. Anyway, it still worked right out of the box! I lost the cheapy lighter I got with my newbie Thompson package (dog rockets, 'dor, lighter, cutter), so I've been pricing the new Colibris. Are they still the best?

Always had problems with Colibri...had two of mine serviced twice already. There service is good though, but not worth the price of the lighter unless you get a good deal, esp here in CB.
Otherwise, I only use my Colibri's for special occasions and trips, but my steady lighter are the cheap Lucky Torches...been 8 months already and still hasn't clogged up.

If you stick to good fuel, like Lava and Vector, they shouldn't clog. That doesn't mean they won't break anyway.

I had two crap out after about 3 months of use with Colibri fuel. Colibri will repair for $5, but it's a hassle.
