As much as I love to read all of these creative posts and threads, I get just as annoyed when I open a new post to find a bleeding horse ready for the glue factory. I wish the subject bars were clearer defined, granting me the option to disregard such mindless banter. I suggest that before posting a thread about a “general” topic, check the “search” function. You see kids; technology has allowed you to find older posts addressing the same topic from months past, in gross and exaggerated detail, all in an effort to avoid the same opinionated group from responding in ways that make you feel like a jack ass. (Who does that?)…..If not already obvious, this is clearly my attempt to hush all posts regarding: 1.)overbidding..yadda..yadda… 2.) ACID vs. Lars scented crapola…… 3.) 5 Vegas cigars ……4.) ring gauges on box press cigars ( although I’ll admit that could be the all time best post on this board)……… 5.) Humidification techniques ( it’s not that deep folks; a wooden box, water …move on)….. 6.) Latin Lawyers waiting to exhale. Thanks for your attention.

I grew up in Brooklyn NY and lived their till I was 29. We had an expression that I believe is most appropriate here, "Yo Wanyburger, who died and left you boss?" Does somebody have a gun to your head forcing you read these posts. Geeze, get real. The real shame is that you make a good point but it gets lost in the anger and sensless drama you create in presenting it.

To anybody that may have a question....I say feel free to ask away and just ignor Wanyburger....it's apparently his time of the month (to complain, that is)

I don't remember any bleeding subject of box press ring guage business, though maybe I was liquored up at the time and thought it was a rather naughty subject.

WELCOME BACK wanyburger!!! This is the type of post that keeps this board alive. Love him or hate him, sooner or later you're gonna agree with him. BTW, I grew up in The Bronx and we had a saying, "Sometimes the dog's bite is worse than his bark", in other words, beware wanyburger's chops :)

Actually, gotta add a serious response here. You're forgetting about all the NEW people who join this board each week. The new blood keeps the board interesting. They have new ideas, comments, opinions, etc, and they probably did NOT know that certain freaks like to pay too much on some items (no offense, of course). SO when you see repetative subject matter, just do as I do and "Gin and Beer it".

Go easy on Wany, guys. Remember, he a newlywed. I believed what happened is that he started mouthing off at his bride and she cut him off. So demonstrate a little patience and let him vent. He'll be OK.

New guys/gals, don't be discouraged by wanyburger's abrasive comments, it's his way, you'll grow to love him, well, maybe not. You'll also grow to accept the ridiculous amount of commas I like to use ;) We will all still answer your questions, no matter how repetitive they might be because as time goes on, tastes of some cigars change, for instance, the red dot Cohiba used to be pretty good, now I'd rather smoke a Te-Amo than shell out $20 for one of these dogrockets.

Rookie, I completely agree with hhjr71 and MCAZONE. You're also right 'bout Wanys sarcasm (which in this thread I find wildly amusing), but since sarcasm is Wanys most used weapon of choise it can get (way) to much at times. - A little more slack, please!

Well...First, I would like to ask for forgiveness from the all-mighty wanyburger for asking about other peoples opinions...god forgive if I look for fresh opinions about cigars before I try them. Next, I would like to point out that I DO USE THE SEARCH to look at old archives, but all of the ACID cigar post seem to go sort of like this:

It sucks!!!

I Like it....

Yea, smells like a french whore house.

As you can see this isn't answering the question I am asking. What I want is some suggestions of other cigars in the ACID line that other people have tried and liked (notice that I don't want a love it/ hate it opinion like almost all of the posts have been. I also find it interesting how since you hate seeing these pheonix-like questions rise from the ashes over and over again, you enjoy taking your valuable time away from your should-be-busy sex life of a newly-wed to make a 200 word sarcastic smash on someone. So, once again I am so sorry if I "beat a dead horse" and didn't ask a proper question. From now on I will only ask intelligent questions like: How many Tobacco beetle eggs are legally allowed to be in each square inch of a cigar, or if suck too hard on a plugged cigar will my head implode?

If Acid made box-pressed, how would you measure it? And would it be good?

There was once a wise man who asked the immortal question "Can't we all just get along?" I believe that man's name was Rodney King. We can all learn from him. I think that Rodney also coined the phrase "Takes a lickin' and keeps on tickin'." but I'm not sure.

If you'd just do a search on people not using the search feature this post would have been entirely unnecessary!!!!!

So, if I want to ask a question like "is a 50-50 mix of water and PG a 50-50 mix by weight or by volume?", I should put something related in the subject line instead of just always putting Acid Cigars vs. Opus X?

it's kind of fun to post a dead horse thread occasionally just to see the control freaks become apoplexic. I try not to do it too often. Don't want it to loose it's novelty.
