Well guys

It is now my turn to face reality. Tampa clearly was the better team yesterday. The RAIDERS asses were kicked. I am a sad fan tonight.

Our offensive line was beaten. Our penalties hurt us. We had no rhythm or momentum, long enough to compete. The defence was worn down. Way too many turn overs(5) to overcome.

No excuses. Let me have it, I can take it!(Do I have a choice?). Hehe!

Congratulations, to The Tampa Bay Buccaneers! They played a Hard, Clean Game!

I'm still proud to be a fan, of the AFC Champions,The OAKLAND RAIDERS!

PS: Isnt spring training coming up soon! Watch out for the Giants & Barry Bonds! HeHeHe!!

A true fan. The loyalty never falters. Despite the Super Bowl loss, the Raiders had a GREAT season!!

Nice that you have a football team to root for. Georgia screwed us over (in O.C.), and since she did, I have chosen not to root for the Rams (hope Al doesn't prevail in his never ending litigation or you may end up teamless just like us --- perhaps, he'll retire, at which point I might be able to convince myself to root for them).

The Bucs showed up to play, the Raiders didn't, it's that simple.

Mag, keep your chin up. It must be great seeing your team even make it to the Super Bowl. Put it this way, the better team may have won, but they had to beat the second best team to do it. And 2nd best is a hell of a lot better than the rest of the NFL. These two teams were far better than the rest this year...and either team could have easily won...as they both deserved it.

Mag: Gracious in defeat is a good sign of a class act. Too much Tampa Bay Defense, though I expected the Raiders to provide a better fight. Both teams were hungry, but the Buc's were the hungrier of the two. It's like TB knew what to expect from the Raiders, and what it took to beat the Raider Offense...Having Gruden was a definite advantage.
Anyway, there's always next season. Maybe my J E T S will provide a better fight. Always a possibility, as long as Vinny isn't the QB...more Td's for us and less Td's for the enemy. As you can see, us JET fans suffered a while with Vinny T as our QB.
As for baseball.....I doubt the Giants can do it again this year....no coach and an older Barry. Their time was last year. My YANKEES will be there as usual..and no repeat miracles from Anaheim.

Mag, I've got to admit you represent your team well. As a lifelong Charger fan, and Raider Hater, I can only say I wish more Raider fans were like you. If you ever go to Raider game in San Diego, we'll definitely need to meet up. Are you going to Spring Training? My wife & I are going in Mid March to see the Padres in Arizona. Last year we included a game in Scottsdale where the Giants play. Nice facility. Giants should be tough again this year.

Mag, at least your team made it to the Super Bowl!!! I would give anything to see Chiefs back in that damn game! After being so close in the 90's I can only hope that they will make it in next year or so!!!

Gruden clearly was the big winner yesterday! Bucs were great!

Gotta hand it to Tampa. I think Gruden had the Raider's number dialed in. He knew exactly what to expect and where to put his people when Gannon was going to throw the ball.

I think the Raiders had a team that could beat anyone in the Superbowl, but as I said in an earlier post. I didn't want to see them face Tamp Bay and Gruden.

High 5 to the Tampa fans and 30 years of being there for your team through years of disappointments and razzing. You earned the right to party.

Clearely you are individual with great ethics. Takes a real man to admit it. By the way, I hope that didn't ruin your whole anniversary. It is football.
