Hi, new(er) cigar smoker here. I just had a baccarat cigar and it was sweet. not to much but had a nice taste after a draw on it. are all Baccarat like this? are other cigars like this?

I don't care for it,
But Baccarats are all like that. That is why I don't smoke them.
I can't think of any other premium cigars out there that have a sweet tip.

All Baccaratts (sic?) have "sugar dipped heads" AFAIK.

Very few other traditional-style cigar lines engage in this practice.

I don't smoke flavored or infused cigars, so I have no idea if they use sweetened heads or not.

I've smoked only one Baccaratt cigar, I didn't know that it was sweetened until I put in my mouth to light it. YUCK. Since it was a belicoso, I grabbed my trusty zino cutter and *chop-chop* samauri cigar surgery ensued and I soon had a very short belicoso that was no longer sweetened.

The cigar still sucked though...

I'm a Baccarat smoker. The sweetness comes from the gum / pectin they used to hold down the cap. I think it adds a nice contrast without going the full force into flavored cigars. It's nice on the conneticuts, and the candelas, but sucks on the maduros. Needless to say, I don't smoke their maduro line.

The sweetness is a Baccarat trademark.

Famous sells their bundled Nic smokes with sweetened caps. Not a big fan, but they have their followers - like my wife......

I haven't had any other quite like em but I will light one every once in a while. A couple days ago I tried one of those Cuban Honey Chocolates that were on special a couple weeks ago. Just thought I would try it and it was horrible! I put it out after 5 minutes and gave the rest away. Surprised anybody wanted them.

The JAVA cigars have sort of that sweetis flavor in the tip, but that is the infusion thing, so it is not just the tip. I usually don't like flavors or the sweet Baccarats but I really like these JAVA smokes...
