OMG...And those are for all five boxes @ $61 a box. Mmmmm, if I come in at $63 maybe he takes the bait and raises the ante. Nevermind, wouldn't know what to do with a $63 box of sumatran wrapped ass hair. Oh the humanity!!

Even funnier...they are $44.95 a box on the CI site.

I agree the price is too high but have you all ever smoked one? Well -- not to be argumentative but there is no resemblance to ass hair. They are a consistently good burning cedary smoke especially in the Robusto -- certainly worth the .60 to .70 a stick I paid!

Not to be argumentative...but have you ever smoked ass-hair? I've smoked both. And IMHO they are very similar.

The Sinatras are absolutely, positively, undeniably
average.

A good, solid .50 cigar.

Bidding runs hot and cold on all the lots...a subject this forum has beaten to a pulp. There are some dorks out there that get so enthralled about bidding on a computer they forget that they are here to look for a good value, if not a bargain.

I too have noticed people all but screwing the idea of an auction by bidding the LGC Serie Rs up to CI prices....it pisses me off! BID BUSTERS, IF YOU READ THIS, JUST BUY THEM FROM CI!...clip, clop, clip, clop...
Anyways, Sinatras are not my cup of tea. Bought a bundle of Sumatra Churchills at .80/stick and genuinely do not like them. The few I have left (minus give aways) will be aged for at least a year.....then we'll see. Don't worry. I have enough room for the good stuff;)

As for the individual in question....I do believe he bought into the BS about it being a past premium....SUCKER!

The description says the list price is $15/stick. Is that a misprint?

Okay, keeping poking fun at me but I am going to enjoy these babies when they get here...JK!

I believe that has to be misprint 15.00 a stick. Mine were only 2.00 a stick or did I get ripped off?

Regards,

B

SmithBW, Check out the price at the CI main site. http://www.cigarsinternational.com and decide for yourself.

As for the quality, they are very well made with a consistent good draw and slow burn. That Sumatran wrapper gives a characteristic spicy sweetness. I think they show similarities to Thomas Hinds, old Habano Gold or the now sold out Legion but liking them will be according to your taste. I have enjoyed the ten that I bought I haven't bid on any more.

Try doing a search on Sinatra from the Forum main page with a search date of ALL MESSAGES. You'll find a lot of comments.

My original post was just remarking on a very excessive bid.
