I am looking for some suggestions on some new samplers to offer that would pique the interest of most cigar smokers. If any of you have an idea/suggestion that is reasonable please email me. Any ridiculous suggestions will incur a major shipping delay on your next order =)

What about a Rickamaven 50 square foot sampler? The brand name is not so important but the available smoking acreage is.

Mean - LOL! How would they ship that? Would a truck just roll up to your driveway and dump?

Ok...I wrote:

With all of the good cigars out there, why not a "Greatest of" package.

ex: CAO Extreme,Padron 1964,Ashton VSG and Bucanero Full Sail.

There's a lot of "mature" cigar smokers that would love a stronger package. Most of the sampler packs are designed to get you to try a particular brand, but why not one for discriminating smokers that have a palate for a really good cigar.

I suggested a "Fat Ring Gauge" sampler. Some LGC Serie R, Partagas Black, Cuban Parejo, CAO Brazillia, Cupido...etc. I think with the fat ring gauge fad, this would sell!

I'm new to Cigar bid, but I REALLY like this site and have already spend several hundered dollars. I'm sure I'll use this site for many years to come. Here's what I would like to see.

Many of the cigars "I've NEVER heard of". I read the reviews, they look tasty, but I'm leary. I've traditionally smoked super preimums, Padron, Fuente, Indian, Oliva, Fonseca, CAO, etc. etc. etc... But many of the cigars on your site are unknown to me.

I would really like to see a varity of samplers includeing some of these lesser known brands. I'm waiting for a shipment of some I just bought which I've never tried, Cupido? La Hoya Selecta? and some others. How about a low cost, but quality sampler? Ideally, you have so many low/reasonable cost and relativly unknown sticks, several of these samplers? I think this would be a fantastic idea. Give people a chance to try a wide assortment to determine what's Jeff Boxworthy.

Mostly interested in higher end stuff in samplers. The 90+ sampler looks like a good one. I bought one of the Cream of the crop samplers which was good except for that damned Gurkha they include is not one of the good ones. For the less expensive stuff I may as well buy a five pack.

Here's a sampler I'd like to see: Two each of something Cohiba, Bucanero, Opus X, Oliva "O", Ashton VSG.

I agree with Penguin13. BIG ring sizes. 56 or larger. Pyramids, Torps., whatever just don't make them too $$$$$$.
We're all working stiffs.

How about the "Inflation Fighter Sampler" low cost/ good taste sticks for the average joe!

I also agree with Robby, I have smoked all the traditional good brands, but how about highlighting some sleepers... A "Sleeper Sampler"...

nuff said.

JC and JD, I had the same idea. Gotta include the Bucs. I thought a 5 pack Maduro sampler with an Oliva "O" Maduro, Buc Full Sail, Buc Peg Leg, Buc El Capitan Maduro and a La Pearla Habana Black Pearl would be interesting.
These seemed to be talked about a lot on the boards.

Mike,

Looking at the forum postings there are some cigars that generate a constant buzz. Others buzz for a time then dissappear. As Dr.Maddvibe said, a premium sampler of current "buzzworthy" cigars would, I feel, be very popular. AshtonVSG, OpusX, Padron Anniversario, Don Carlos, Hemmingway, Oliva "O", and Bucanero to name a few. I drool as I type, forgive me.
Next, I'd like to see maybe a "Slimboli" or "SteveS" or "Dr.MaddVibe" or "RICKAMAVEN" sampler. Their thoughts,( and the thoughts many others, as well) on cigars have certainly influenced my choices so far. And I'm sure will continue to do so.
Next, I'd like to see a "Hidden Gems" sampler. You know, Mayorgas, Montecruz Negra Cubana, Occidental Sun Growns; etc.
And finally, a "Forgotten Favorites" sampler. Things like the original Hoyo double maduros, LGC Wavells, Punch, RyJ. The cigars that were the original "Premiums" and have been recently been overshadowed by, (sometimes their own), marketing hype.
This could be a project that some lucky CI/CB employee
could have a lot of fun with. Are accepting applications?

Thanks for the smokes,

THL

Thanks for the suggestions. It may be some time before we get any worked into the rotation.

One side note; Padron Anny's, Opus X, and Ashton VSG will not be appearing anytime soon in a sampler or even in 5-packs.
