The jury is in. Tried three different sizes, in this case, size doesn't matter. (I lobbed that in for you sick bastards) This cigar has a wonderful tasting (creamy) wrapper and is beautifully constructed. Smoked evenly and cool but the filler was too young. Not quite a grassy taste, but you can tell there is something missing. Perfume? JUST KIDDING!! I compare this stick to the Cifuentes cigars, also made by Partagas. Overall, unless this cigar gets better with age, I’d rather look at them than smoke them. Its unfortunate too, too often great looking sticks shi+ the bed when you light them up. My suggestion? Take the Bauza Pyramid, with this wrapper and then you might have something. Thoughts?

I HAve always Enjoyed the Partagas Line of Cigars From the Original Cubans to the "Now Partagas" and no mater the Size they have always been a Consitant Ciger for me
and i would believe for others also Thus the Price on these Baby's. that is why I enjoy "Partagas Series" when traveling Over-Sea's....

I must concur, I am letting my S series rest in peace for at least six months. I am finally finsishing up a box of the regular line, a year later and each one kept getting better, and Cifuentes are also an excellent substitute when Partagas is not around. Though Partagas must not advertise enough in CA as they consistently get sub par ratings. Only complaint I have is the draw can be a bit tight too often.

A have to agree with King Queen. The S Series is a boring stick. I am thinking of 57 more exciting sticks right now which cost less and taste better....Than another 17 that cost more. Nice construction but.... This would be perfect for CAYMAN...... All form and no substance.

This series looks good, but smokes poorly. Overpriced for the smoke. I expect to be able to smoke a premium when I buy it, without any green taste. This one was a disappointment at first, I'll give you guys an update in 4 months (if this ever comes up again). I'd definitely take a Maria Mancini Magic Mountain out of the box over any of the Series S any day. My final word on this stick (as of now): Potential means nothing until it is realized. In 4 months, maybe it'll mean something...
