Lets do it again!

Anyone in or near the Orange County area is more than welcome to join me for a night of Cigars and interesting characters at the Red Cloud in Fullerton on Friday February 28th.

All interested parties please reply via e-mail to [email protected]

I have decided to make this a monthly event and will be choosing a new venue for March. Should anyone have memberships or a favorite venue and would like to host or co-host a herf please let me know.

Best regards,

I was in laguna nigel a couple of weeks ago and found cigars to be almost double the price that they are here in the chicago area.Is this true or did I just go to the wrong place?

Hey guys, sorry don't think I can make this one.I have a Homebrew meeting that evening the 28th.One of our newest members is hosting and it would be rude of me not to show.

Hey any of you local So Cal people interested in learning how or just watching a bunch of guys make their own BEER and or Meads? My Homebrew club is having a "Big Brew" on Sunday February 23rd 8:00 AM till(whenever we get finished up) ?? in Costa Mesa.

Cigar smoking is always welcome and samples will be in abundance :0).Hell just stop by for a beer and a gar if you like.Generally speaking it takes about 2+1/2-3+1/2 hrs for extract brewing with specialty grains and 6+ hrs for an all grain batch. All of the guys have different techniques as well as different brewing set ups and we are always looking to help newbies that would like to learn to brew your own beer.

If interested e-mail me at for directions and specifics.Hope some of you will decide to drop by.

BTW Homebrew has come a long way and is not only less expensive than micro-brews it's tastier as well.If you can make a basic soup or pasta sauce, you can make a great tasting beer.

JJ,

I've always wanted to do the homebrew thing; my wife got me one of those Mr. Brew things for Christmas one year. You mixed some gloppy syrup into a pan with water, and put it in a plastic mini-keg. Didn't exactly turn out like I wanted.

My email is [email protected]. I'd like to look into this a little further. I'm living in Murrieta, which is a little bit of a drive, but would like to see how the process has changed.
