Try moving the "meth" lab to another room.

If it's white stuff in a few spots but not all over the cigar, check your humidity, it could be mold. Isolate the cigars, and smoke 'em after brushing it off; they are still good. Get your humidity right. If it's a light dusting of crystal like fine powder all over the cigar, I'm extrememly jealous. That's ploom bro. And that's a good problem.

If you have a musty smell, you may need to isolate the humidor to dry out first.
Can anyone suggest a cleanser? Bleach is the best thing for mold, but I don't know about that in a humidor.

Good luck brushing mold off...If it's mold, then there's not much you can do except throw the cigar out

It could be the humidifers. I have two that have a sponge material in them and I guess over time, they got a little funky smelling.

What I do with them is change the floral wetfoam twice a year..Go to any craft/floral design store and buy a package of floral wetfoam (it's green)...They come in bricks (3 to a package), costs less than $5 a package, and you can replace the foam inside your humidifiers...Like a new humidifier then!

They frequently do get moldy over time (the foam inside your humidifiers)

The only things that will get rid of molds/mildews that I'm aware of other than maybe a flame thrower, are bleach or Lysol (depending on the variety of mold or mildew).

But at least one type of mold thrives on bleach, so be careful!

Not to mention the incredible colors that would be visible to you if you smoked a 'gar laden with bleach or Lysol...I'd say you're screwed...time to bid on or build a new one!

But what do I know...

The site offered by Xrun. is helpful. If your RH has been running high (>80 RH), you probably have a mold problem. Inspect your gars for molds, separate the contaminated from the non-contaminated (I would put the suspected non-contaminated in quarantine for a couple of days, e.g. sealed baggie in refrig or seperate humidor), and throw away the comtaminated gars (ouch!). Get new Humidifiers, and clean out the contaminated Humidor as directed in the above site.
As a suggestion, what E-Chick said may be the only definite solution because mold problems once they start are difficult to fully eradicate. Mold spores being microscopic are difficult to diagnose unless you microscopically inspect your Humidor and cigars.
Hope you have a small humidor, and the casualities are few.

I believe PG-Distilled Water 50-50 mix helps fight the mold problem.
