A MAN'S WORKBENCH

a while ago, someone posted a picture of what he claimed was his work bench. it was
immaculate. tools hung on a peg board, bench clear and clean, no dust on the floor.

everyone knew it was from an advertisement designed to sell tools and of course it was set up by
a designer, not a man who fixes things around the house and car. a real man who throws his
tools on the work bench so he can try to find them later.

a real man would rather collect the lawn clipping in one of those catchers, then clean his work
bench and sweep the garage floor.

this is a real man's work bench.

Penquin, I got a drill press for Christmas and now I use it all the time. It's a 12" Ryobi similar to the one in this masterpiece posted.

Yes. And they hold my sandwich and coffee perfectly while I cut something crooked.

Man that brings back memories. I made the mistake of converting my garage into an office and bedroom without having another place to set up shop. BIG MISTAKE! (I think this is why I'm so grumpy all the time!) Takes twice as long to do the simplist of task.

Penguin, Get the press, you will find uses just to justify the cost!

That's really organized. I currently have to move an unpainted door and 14" of crap to get to the workbench surface. I have tools, but they are scattered around between my rollaway, the junk drawer and the work bench

unfortunately there are no visible signs of beer drinking or gar smokin, my workbench looks simular, but my ashtray shows signs of my spent punch gars and my empty bud cans..at least a few.
