Ok, I'm sure this one has been asked several hundred times...
I have a humidor that has a tray between the elements and the main storage compartment. I'm always paranoid about not putting too many sticks in the tray for fear that they'll either be over-humidified or the ones under the tray will be under-humidified. Am I being too careful? Does it matter? Thanks for your input in advance.

Shouldn't matter. Given time, humidity knows no boundaries unless the location where it needs to go is airtight.

Just keep a slit or two clear for air to circulate. X

I use the thin sheets of cedar to put over the cigars directly under the humidfiers in all my humidors.

What JD and X said. I have found the same thing to be true in all my humidors.
