What is the difference between the Oliva "O" Maduro and the Oliva Grand Maduro?

I saw these on another web site and there is a vast difference in price. I got some of the Oliva Grand Maduro and they are really good. Lots of smoke and great taste. And about $50/box.

Any ideas on this?...69

Have smoked all of the Oliva line, and really, the only difference to me is the fact that the Oliva O Maduro, is one hell of a deal and can be had for nice price!

A great cigar for the money, one of the best!

PS I know this is not the answer you are looking for maybe Steve S or Slim will give a more in depth detail!

The Oliva "O" uses tobacco aged for 5yrs,the Oliva Grand series does not. X

The Oliva 'O' and Oliva Grand are made by two different families ... distantly related, but in different factories.

Completely different blends altogether ...

Also, the Oliva 'O' uses a sun-grown wrapper in both the natural and the maduro ... the other does not.

My bad ...

It slipped my mind that one family just grows tobacco for sale to various factories only, and does not sell finished product.

None the less ... they are different blends, and I feel the Oliva 'O' is far better cigar (although the Oliva Grand is a great cigar) ... hence the price difference.
