I've had a chance to smoke a few more of the Dos Rios Robustos. These are really starting to grow on me. Another classic Nicaraguan. I highly recommend them.

Unfortunately, you are a bit misguided in your recommendation. It would have been more accurate to say that they are slightly above average but not great. Then add, "but I really like 'em."

Unklebill: I've gotta disagree with you on the Dos Rios. I honestly feel these are a quality smoke. They are not the best cigar I've ever had, but they are very good.

I just smoked one of the box pressed. Pretty red wrapper, box pressed. Very spicy and strong. This is of course not the best I've ever had but... a VERY GOOD cigar!

A very good smoke for the money. The red wrapper has a wonderfull spice. The box press is neat and even. Taste is good early but has La Luna tendancies to burn out too quickly. I rate these and the Mayorgas as two very good smokes for the money.
