Have you heard the Liberals lately?
It's not enough to somehow "blame" Rush Limbaugh for the last elections. Now they feel a need to artificially install a "Liberal Voice" on the talk radio scene.
I say artificially, because how else could you descibe the manner in which they are proceding?
Instead of putting a strong product into the marketplace in order to let it grow in size and popularity, they want to have some large entity force a program onto the airwaves.
They don't understand what America wants because they don't understand how America works.
Par for the course...

Black helicopters aside, it's obvious I wasn't clear.
I'm not speaking of government intervention, and this isn't necessarily a democratic agenda.
The liberal left is horified that talk radio is hugely popular and almost entirely conservative.
They (the liberals) are hitting the airwaves on radio and television crying that they need a voice. NOW.
They want radio stations to instantly allow a nationwide presence to counter the Limbaugh's of the world. They are looking for someone to "blame" to explain why the liberal voice doesn't exist.
It's hilarious.
And it's entirely inaccurate.
I don't listen to much NPR, but what I've heard is fairly liberal. Most of the major networks are liberal, as are many cable news (CNN, MSNBC).
Other than FoxNews on Cable, and Limbaugh, this "right-winged conspiracy" is a joke.

Let's face it; It's easy to pick on the liberals because they have become a characature of themselves. It's difficult for the left to poke fun at the right because conservative values steep in Patriotism and Captialism.
I don't suggest that the liberals are evil. Just that they are out of touch.

Tail, it's gonna make for great headlines! Carville couldn't do it, Cuomo couldn't do it, Hightower couldn't do it, and on TV Chung and Donahue couldn't sway anyone or hold their shows above water!

Out of touch, and this "Us vs. Them" attitude on race, class warfare, economic situations, and entitlements is laughable now. The jig is up, and they actually have to DO something to sway the American public!

tailgater, you are right. There is no market in the radio media for liberal views. If there were enough people that wanted these views over the airwaves, they would surely be there.

Money is what its about. You need sponcers to run a show. If companies dont support advertising on these programs, they cant exist. Companies arent stupid, well most of them. They dont want to be affiliated with unpopular views or they would jump in!

If the left has nothing credible to speak of, who will listen. Nobody! Thats why the ONLY successful radio talk shows are conservative ones.

Liberals dont want to believe that the center is shifting little by little towards conservatism. The statis of liberal vs conservative radio shows is proof of that.

The only liberal shows I hear, come on when most of us are already asleep! Graveyard shifts only! Hahahaha!
