Thanks for the suggestion! I am always interested in the subject. I have ancestors who participated in founding this country and who fought for their beliefs. Thomas Nelson, Jr. and Robert E. Lee were great patriots and I'm proud to be a part of their blood-line! God Bless America!

You have got to be kidding me...Robert E. Lee a hero and patriot? The guy fought to defend slavery. Please explain that. And don't give me a bunch of bull**** about complicating matters/issues in the Civil War (you can't take defense of slavery out of their minds, try as you may) or that he was a great strategist. You know who else was a great strategist? Hitler.

I used to think the right wing people here were nationalist patriots. But this kind of post, along with the other ones on the confederate flag, are making me rethink that. The guy also fought to secede from the country...that is patriotic? Secession to keep slavery intact. You guys really scare me.

No, usahog, slavery does not fit my agenda. Does it fit yours? I guess I don't think of myself as 'bitching' about slavery. Seems an issue a little beyond 'bitching.'

I didn't notice the date on the post, no. Do I want to 'invade your thoughts'? Well, if arguing on a bbs is invading thoughts, I guess I do. Never thought of it that way. Your response suggest to me you might be a little reactionary...no...really?
