I was wondering the same thing myself. The other Toranos seem to be well liked, but I always notice that these go very cheap which got me wondering. I guess that makes this one more I won't be trying.

A cheapie but you can do worse. I like them better than 5 Vegas.

Cannot even believe you would compare this dog rocket with a 5 Vegas!

Ain't it amazing how tastes differ? There's a cigar called Savinelli ELR. On another post somebody said it's mild. To me it was a strong, full-bodied, knock your socks off smoke. Go figure.

You want to knock your socks off, try the following:

Joya de Nicaragua Antannos 1970.....be sure you are where you want to be, no driving while smoking this baby!

I intend to. Been hearing good things about Joya de Nicaragua and I like strong cigars.

How about trading me a few for some 5 Vegas???

ditto Charlie and Sonny. Was enough for me to step away from the other 6 I have and put them to sleep for a few more months. I don't think I'll be able to wait that long though; I like pleasurable pain myself! Wow what an arse kicker but combined with so damn much flavor! Now I'm looking for pricing. Found some at $54/box for my favorite (robusto grande)...gotta wait a few weeks though!

Lenny4Z,
I have never tried the St. Charles so I can't comment on them but I can say, without hesitation, that there are great smokes on this site that go for low prices because they are either not recognized or not appreciated. It's a matter of taste.
