This morning I was working in my soon-to-be finished cigar room and grabbed a cigar box from the back of my cabinet to check the contents. I often re-use cedar boxes to store my bundle cigars in when I put them in my cabinet. It turns out this box contained a bundle of the Tesoro maduros I bought almost a year ago. I gotta tell ya, they aged great. I lit it up while I was finishing up some sheetrock work. Because I had my hands full (mud tray and knife) I was only puffing on the cigar ocassionally and then setting it back down. After about half an hour It finally hit me just how much I was enjoying this cigar. I finally just sat down for awhile and finished it. I seldom detect the subtle flavors that many of you describe when you post reviews, instead I just rate the overall experience I have when I smoke a cigar. This one was just great. I have three or four bundles of these in the botom of the cabinet. It may be time to rotate some of them up tp the top shelf. I finally got the sheet rock finished too. Now I just have to figure out how I want to finish the room.

Gotta agree with you. These, with just a little age, are the only seconds I have found that I care for. THe only seconds I have bought twice. Though often rolled too tight.....hey, what do you want....

Shortly after getting my bundle of Tesoro's I tried one and now I can hardly wait for them to get a little age. Very good warm spicy flavor that I know will only improve. I won't be able to wait a year!! Good luck on your remodelling. It'll be worth it. Enjoy!

Smoked it. Very good, although mild, but really smooth. Finished a little hard, draw was kind of tight (started with a bullet cut, then just guillotined the ****), bright white ash, REALLY even burn. Excellent construction for a second, good construction if a first. Tasted like a Lars without the patchouli.

Forgot to mention that the Tesoro was almost identical in taste to the La Luna LHB Especial No. 5.

Hey Piggy, I'll swap with you if you have any good stuff. Currently have ~300 'gars in my humidors. You name it, I've got at least one of 'em. I sent a couple of Bahias to Coach in C-town but I think I have a few left. You can email me at [email protected]. Let's deal!
