I know I shoulda asked first but, this auction I came across at the last minute and couldnt resist bidding on them. Well, I won.

Anybody had these yet? The are very intriguing looking. I'd like any comments on these. Thanks

Here is the description:

This is a delightful and unique cigar. Each cigar is rolled with two wrappers (dos capas), giving it a unique twist. The Bohemian Revolution comes in 4 styles, each having its own Dos Capa combination, including: Predator, Hawkeye, Hellfire, and Sidewinder.

The Predator line offers a Cameroon wrapper surrounded by a Connecticut-seed Ecuadorian leaf. It's medium to full-bodied, very smooth, yet with a definite oomph to it that creeps up on you. The long-filler blend is a mix of Nicaraguan, Dominican Piloto Cubano and Olor leaves, covered in a a Dominican Olor binder.

When I saw that they were named after "rockets" I backed off. Give us a review after you've scooped, er .... smoked one. :o)

Mag,I believe you will like them. Some here are biased because some of the other cigars made by Victor Sinclair are less then stellar. The Predator,IMO has a sharp Habano like taste due to Ligero they use. The only true test of course, depends on what you think, but I don't think you will be disappointed. X

I keep getting bumped on my bids for these! They sound tasty, but I'm not spending more than retail!

I haven't bid on them either by the 5-pack or box, but have watched the bidding. Winning box prices appear to be significantly less per stick than for 5-packs, even more than usual. I'm somewhat suspect of the olor binder and filler. Olor is generally grown to be mild and to be very neutral flavored, almost bland.

I do like the Victor Sinclair Bohemian Red Label North Beach corojo. You have to be careful buying them, because there is an earlier version of the Bohemian Red Label Bohemian that does not have a corojo wrapper. I have both varieties and there is a pronounced difference in taste.
