when a cigar is first tolled think of it as a pot of stew with all the ingredients. until you cook the stew for a while, it's just a bunch of ingredients. if you do find a place that rolls cigars on the spot and i can't think of anywhere, buy a few of the fresh rolled and put them in your humidor for at least a year.

cooking stew and a cigar "marrying" is the same thing almost. it takes a while for the different leaves in the cigar to mix oils and end up the way it was meant to be.

i don't know how long you will be there, but tke enough cigars with you to last. cigars are very expensive in all the hotels double to triple what they wouild cost here.

if you have time, there is a cigar store owned and run by the indians on main street north of freemont about a mile. they have a great selection at fair prices.

good luck at the tables and the slots. just remember they don't build all those new hotels with their money, they use whatever you lose.

I don't remember the name of the place, and maybe Rick can help me with the side street name, but across the strip from the Stardust there is a little shopping center on that corner. On the south side of that shopping center there USED TO BE a cigar company. I don't know if it's still there. They had about four or five rollers in there. The cigars were good enough, but they are better if they sit a while.

Across the street from the Monte Carlo is a strip center with Las Vegas Cigar Co. They have a sign out front that says Cuban rolled cigars. It is a small shop but they usually have a couple of Cubans rolling cigars in the front of the store. The cigars are not bad for the price. Check em out.

you jolted my memory. that's the place i bought one sweetened cigar and one non sweetened. two puffs of each and they were thrown in the toilet. the worst cigars i ever smoked. they were both the same junk, except one was sprayed with sugar water. throw your money in a slot machine insead, at least you won't have to rinse your mouth.

and this from the dummy that buys bad frogs and other assorted "nobody in their right mind would smoke these" cigars.
