Who's got one and how's the cutter?

I have one. The cutter itself is fine, but can really only handle up to about a 48 ring guage. The other tools are too tiny and rinky-dink to be of much use. I'd recommend that you go with a regular Xikar cutter or a Swiss Army Knife.

I agree with the comments about the tools, but I think the cutter is fine, and I cut larger ring sizes with it also. No problem for me. The nicest part of it is that it has a small loop to fit on your keyring. I don't use it as my main cutter, but if I forget to carry one for some reason, I still have that one with me.

x, just got the SAK Luxury Tool and it is better than any cutter I've had yet. I highly recommend it.

After some more investigation, it seems the MTX is okay. But the SAK is the weapon of choice. Looks like I will put one on my birthday list.LOL! Thanks.

So it's not a SAK of ... ? I have the Swiss Army cutter. It ROCKS!! How does the SAK stand up against the WENGER?

Robby, the SAK I have IS the Wenger luxury cigar tool. No SAK has the cigar cutter on it but the luxury cigar tool by Wenger. I also hear that it is discontinued and replaced by one with red scales like their other knives; you won't see the luxury cigar tool on Wenger's web site. Anyway, I agree with Sonny, it is the best cutter I've ever owned. I like it so much I got another to tuck away in the drawer for the ultimate backup tool. As for the Xikar, can't comment, sorry!

I just got my Xikar Xi1 cutter a few weeks back, and let me tell you, it's a work of art. Thing's so sharp it almost cuts by itself. Almost no effort is needed to just slice through cigars. GO XIKAR!!
