We agreed to split a box of Joya de Nicaragua Antano 1970's and when I open the box with my share (nicely packaged in fancy Humi-pouches) I found I did not get what I paid for...It was more than I paid for.

JD added four extra sticks. Good stuff too, including a La Perla Black Pearl and La Aroma de Cuba.

First impression of the Joya de Nics.....WOW. I am not worthy. I think I'm in love. This cigar has it all, What delicious flavor, perfect construction. And strong? Holy buzz factor, Batman. And none of the harsh bite you sometimes get with lesser cigars. A real Godzilla of a smoke.

Thanks Jerry, I owe you one...I mean four.

I too must lift my voice in praise of jd1 (but not of Antano 1970s).

I have gotta jump on the praise wagon when it comes to JD1. He is one of the traders on this board that has out done me on more than one occasion.

I will trade with him anyday!

Regards,

You guys are just as generous and you know it! All of you and there are a lot in the Good Traders post that are true brothers/sisters of the leaf.

jamesconnors; I don't have any at the moment, but you never know when a little birdie may drop one at your door....cigar that is! Had a little birdie drop one in my open window of my truck the other day...would that be a "random dropping"

I have to add to this. Just finished a trade with him and...I'm speechles! I can't even begin to explain how generous this man is but I'll try. Not only did I get the cigars that we agreed on, I received two Joya de Nicaragua Antano 1970s, Some Bucaneros, an Industrial press, and last but not least an Opus X. I sure there was more that I can't remember right now. (I had a rough night last night.) I was even impressed with the packaging for the shipping. This man is top notch! I tip my hat to you JD :)

Hats off to Penguin as well made a good deal even better with the two ISOMs he kicked into the deal. What a deal, then topped it off with 10 mystery sticks that I'll be reviewing and posting here. This is a first for me Penguin--you got my cherry on this one! Look for upcoming "Penguin cigars" postings in the future. Definitely the most interesting trade I've done to date!
