Well Gents,

There are getting to be some pretty good looking sticks in there. All look to be in pretty good condition too. The sticks seem to take a beating if they are not wrapped in cello', so wrap them if you can when you put them in. Shame for a good cigar to get ruined.

I added the picks of Michael to the Trade Dossier and updated the Bonus bag put list. Time to start the next sheet. I also added a Peterson Corona Tube(not a bad smoke) onto the list. It was in the box but not on the list. Also, the Canaria D'Oro Rothschild Mad from Brent is not in the box, but does not have an entry noting who took it.....?????......

My takes: From the Bonus Bag, I took a Cohiba Esplendido(never tried), Ancla y Cazador(give it another chance), and Don Alberto Churchill(never tried).

My picks were: Hoyo de Monterey dbl Mad.(I am assuming this is the HDM as it has no band and I know HDM sometimes to not......never had a double mad.),
El Rey Del Mundo Rothschild Cedro(been wanting to try this brand),
Cuban Partagas Petit Corona (never tried it),
La Flor Dominicana(last one of these I tried was great so....took it!),
and Fuente Robusto(have not tried one in years and want to see what all the fuss is.).

My puts are: La Luna Maduro Fuerte Bolidos(I still have not tried this one but hear it is good),
Hoyo de Monterey Rothschild(interested to see if it is different than the double maduro),
Habano Primero Churchill(again, this one was recommended to me but have not tried it),
Quintero Toro(Strong, Honest, Quintero...probably med-full flavor and one I like...please report back after you try this),
and Dos Rios Robusto(quite an earthy cigar...if you like earthy, get this one).

I will mail the box as soon as possible.

Many Thanks,

Bill

What's the order for this round? Is there a list in the box?

The Habano Primero -- really that good? (I just read your post about it on the cigar board.) I'll grab it if it's REALLY that good. Box is still out there somewhere. Hopefully it'll show tomorrow.

I believe I'll grab it when the box shows up. The box is still out there in USPS land. I'll report in as soon as it arrives.

It has been called to my attention that the unbanded cigar I took may not have been the HDM but in fact the Canaria d'oro, which is also unbanded at times...Any help from whomever donated those....Was one of them banded? Well, either way, I took the unbanded Robusto sized one. The other one was not there.

The only maduro in the Canaria d'Oro line is the rothschild and they are always unbanded.

Da box finally be here. I opened it late tonight, so I'll ship it off tomorrow. Bill, my guess is you grabbed the Canaria d'Oro -- there IS a HdM maduro still in the box. It's maybe a robusto size. I have a SERIOUS question for you guys: how come nobody has grabbed the ISOM Cohiba Esplendido Rob added about 4 stops ago? Is there something I should know? Surely our outstanding leader would have known if it was counterfeit. It's a loose roll -- is that typical of one of these? Or is it just that nobody wants their butt knocked in the dirt by a killer ISOM?.... My picks: Habano Primero Churchill, La Luna Maduro Fuerte Bolido, Astral Belicoso, and Santa Damiana Toro. My puts: Indian Tabac H2000 Dbl Corona, Romeo & Julieta Cedros Deluxe #2, H. Upmann 2000 Torpedo(?--some cool shape), and (I hope you don't mind, Rob; it was something you sent me) a small box of 5 ISOM Montecristo Minis (count as 1). I tried a few and they didn't do much for me, but they might be a great grab for someone who likes that stuff. I'm just a Cuban novice. The outer box must be sent to the box graveyard. I'll re-package and send the box tomorrow to Jim. Looks like of the remaining 3, he's gone the longest without seeing the box. Have a good evening guys!

Yeah, We got reason to suspect the Cohiba is a counterfeit, BUT....the band is legit! Go figure?

Hey CL...good picks!!. Let me know what you think of the Santa Damiana,La Luna, and Habano Primero. For me the Astral is a bit light. Did you only take 4? I thought that was last round? I took 4 and put 5 last time and took 5 and put 5 this time. Did I mess up? I assumed we were only doing that for one round. Let me know. If need be I will make up for it.

I've had some La Luna MF'ers before -- really good. I'm looking forward to trying the other picks. On the numbers... well, I'm not sure if there were any rules in place this round. I took 4 and put 4. I thought we could do any number we wanted. You and I both put as many as we took -- I hope we weren't supposed to put one extra. Anybody out there know? I'll tell you one thing, though, not a single cigar more can fit without getting a bigger Tupperdor. Thanks once again for the extras -- I think I'll fire up the Tesoro tonight.

YAHOO!!!! I knew it would get around to me sooner or later. My understanding is that this round is even puts and takes; adding 2 sticks for the cross-group pass. It looks like I'll purchase the new tupperdor. Why do we have reason to believe the Cohiba is counterfiet?

OH NO! I didn't include the cross-pass cigars! Rob, want me to send them directly to you? Or wait until the box is closer to you? As far as the ISOM Cohiba, I have no idea; I'm no expert. Anyone else?

I picked up the Cohiba in a trade and it didn't look Kosher. Therefore I placed a disclaimer on it when I entered it in the box...If you have forgotten the cross trade cigars please send them to me when you can.
