Won these two yesterday:

Acid Def Sea - 5 pack for $11
How is the price?
Are these any good? Are they aromatic like other Acids?

La Pearla Habana Black Pearl Gran Robusto - 5pack for $15.
How is the price?
Are they good??


I've been wanting to try these. Heard some good buzz about the black pearls. Just curious about the Def Sea.

Any information would be appreciated.

PS... Don't start yelling at me about price. I've checked and know they are pretty good but I have not followed the bids, I don't know what they usually go for on CB.

You've won one of my favorites brands and one of my lest liked brands.

The LPH Black Pearls are a damned fine cigar. I like all LPHs, one of the finest cigars made today, IMHO.

The Acids...well lets just say they are at the opposite side of the scale, IMHO. Can't stand them.

Low,

Got a pack of the Def Seas myself and although they're not as strong as the regular Acid line, they are aromatic so keep them away from your regular stogies. This is my second time to try the Def Seas and I think it will be my last. Smoking the Acid line is like smoking a incense stick. Have you tried the Ambrosia line yet? They are, IMHO a little better, think... chai tea from Starbucks. The Van Reef stick is my personal favorite. -Kai

I have smoked everything from the acid and natural line.(Actually how I become a consistent cigar smoker) I do not like the Def Sea! It has a horrible smell and very unpopular smoke in public. I do like the rest of the line though. JMO!

I think the Def Sea is pretty good myself . Everybody at work loves the smell over everything else that I whiff by their noses

I love the acids, will try anything. Just got a box of Naturals from Drew Estate, gotta say, they are amazing. Anyway, yes the Def Sea's are nice, not quite as aromatic as the rest of the Acid line

Black Pearl is one of my favorites. So excellant choice there.
the Def sea? Pretty mild and simple with draw problems has been my experience. Hope it's not yours.
