I just finished my first CP. Not a bad smoke, especially since I've become very partial to maduros now. The only problem was the tendency for this stick to "canoe". In fact, I was looking around for some oars and had to settle for a slight correction (or three) with the trusty torch. Lots of smoke from this baby - I'm looking forward to the next one (and the CAO sampler that's on its way!).

Well you are not alone in like the CP, I have had two different kinds and I have liked them both. I only had problems with the Belicoso Fino Rosado, but the other the Epicure Rosado was the best ( i think it was the epicure rosado, it was gifted to me by a wonderful member here). All in all I like the CPs and I am glad I am not alone.

I burned a few epicure maduros. At a 60 ring, it's just a little too big and although I enjoyed the flavor it gave me the mother of all buzzes. Couple friends felt the same way....not for everyone but they have their place

I really like the CP. It does need some torch correction at times, but, for the most part, it performs well. The Rothschilds are my choice size.

By virtue of the ring size, these need to rotated every once in awhile while in the humidor. This allows for a more even humidification of the cigar. This will cut down on canoeing. X

Thanks to all for the info. I must admit that I just got them in and grabbed one to smoke. I couldn't resist that short, round body! I've got the rest incubating comfortably in my humidor and will roll them over occasionally.

They do pack a punch, although since I only smoke two or three sticks a week, it doesn't take much to slap me silly.

Just had my first one, a rothschild maduro 4.7x60 and would have to agree that it is quite good. Hell of a cigar, had a uneven burn, produced lots of smoke and kicked my newbie ass even after dinner, LOL...I'm a glutton for punishment though and will savor the rest that I have-Kai
