In My Opinion
I’ve held my tongue. I’ve only put others comments in the jokes mailings but I simply can’t hold my tongue any longer. I’m saddened by what I see and hear from my fellow Americans.
Whether you believe in this current war or not, you should support your country and the men and women that are defending it and defending your right to disagree.
Whether you voted for the current administration or not, you should support your country and the men and women that are defending it.
Whether you believe in God or not, you should say a few words of support for the men and women defending your country.
If those Americans protesting against the United States and it allies that are lying down their lives in this war believe so strongly that we should not be there I say this:
After this war is over go there; live there, not for a week, not for a month but for six to twelve months.
Live with these people, listen to these people, and learn from them first hand the horrible things that they have suffered under this regime.
Work along side them, live on their wages, walk in their shoes, and see how they have struggled simply to be able to live.
They could not protest against their government leaders for fear of death, either theirs or a member of their family. Why have so many, for so many years, left their country, their homes, and their families behind to live elsewhere where they are free? Why do they send most of their wages to the family they left behind?
Personally I would love to see the movie stars, singers, etc. that have been so vocal against our leaders, that have so much and take so much for granted, try to live under the conditions these people have lived with all their life.
Weather you believe in God or not, weather you believe in prayer or not, please take a few minuets to say a words of support for this man. He is in a situation that few people find themselves in. Many people criticize him at every turn, and few people have taken the time to thank him for the things that he has done for them.
A lot of people know this man, but few people know the extent of his situation. We're quick to criticize when we've never walked in someone’s shoes, and we're slow to pray that God will show him which to go.
This man hasn't asked me to do this, but I feel led to do so and I'm sure that he appreciates all your prayers and support.
Trust me, if you were facing what he is facing, you'd want people praying for you too!
I Will Add, Not only Take a Minute to Pray for this Man... But also Our Military and Coalition Forces Keeping Our Freedoms Alive Today in the Middle East!!!
